But whitney may have contributed indirectly to her mother's stroke. We know that strokes result from high blood pressure and the lunatic dance W has led her poor parents through--first the diabetes scare, then the heart collapse, then her back injury, not to mention the pregnancy false alarm--even after she knew Babs has PTSD from the car accident--must have added to the tension and fear Babs felt for her daughter. But that conscienceless little swine has sunk so low in both appearance and moral character than she is now using the very personal and private sorrows of her mother to make publicity for herself as the wonderful loving daughter. Has she no decency? Also Whitney is misleading because her whole livelihood depends on subsidies from parents for her dance studio and she just lucked out getting that radio job--she had taken radio courses in college and luckily this is one of the few jobs where it doesn't matter what you look like. Other girls may be inspired to think that they can be just as successful as W despite their obesity, not realizing that they do not have the same financial and job experience "cushions" that she does. I am willing to take bets on how fast the pounds would peel off Whitney if her parents adopted a long overdue tough love approach and refused to subsidize her unless and until she got serious about weight loss, Her own story explodes the myth that PCOs means fat forever because she managed to lose 100 lbs even with the PCOs then she gave up. Whitney probably will sing a far different tune now that the radio job is over and she might have to go out into the real face to face employment world where employers equate a fat sloppy body with fat sloppy work--they also don't want to hire fat people because if such person gets an obesity related illness it will damage the company's insurance coverage. Whitney, just because you happened to fall on your feet thanks to your affluent and indulgent parents doesnt mean that every other obese girl will follow suit. That is why you are so dangerous and misleading.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-650289478442133391.post-13464345168821853262017-05-25T11:44:35.870-07:002017-05-25T11:44:35.870-07:00Yes you are on to something, in the real world, so...Yes you are on to something, in the real world, someone of her size has no chance at a job. When I was midsized and remember I was almost 6 feet tall and Whitney is very very short, so that makes it worse. I could not get jobs barely even while in the 200s, people could see my bad breathing and my Aspergers was a MAJOR issue so maybe I can't be totally unbiased here, but Whitney...

1. Comes from money. Well I came out of a better off family but she is someone who has been taken care of.

2.Yes you are correct the parents will subsidize her no matter what. If she becomes bedbound they will provide her nursing care, etc as long as they are able. I get the feeling she is some kind of GC, because honestly her brother seems invisible, even within the family as they coo over Whitney. I actually thought she was an only child the dyamics were so extreme.

3. Yes she is educated and Daddy gave the seed money, and yes radio your body doesn't matter. Though I can tell she has already hit a size that without the fame, she would be getting no jobs at all.

You are right she is very misleading. She had a lot of priviledges and luck [youtube dancing video taking off]that most women of her size are not going to get.

In my case, I even had good grades 3.5 and some art talent to get me through, but when I was out in the work world discrimination was so EXTREME.

My biggest worry for young fat women, is economic failure. I economically failed, massively and in my case, I got 8 years of working class married life. I had jobs in my 20s where I got paid 14 dollars and then 12 an hour. Even substitute teaching got me 67 dollars a day in the 1990s,I don't think they pay more then that today. Many people make even less. I was able to sell myself in "working with troubled youth"

I worked so hard but the appearance wasn't there. If someone has sabotaging narc parents who destroy mental and physical well-being, then the draw backs are far worse.

I don't see any positive changes in the workworld even for the fat even though their numbers are getting greater.

Whitney without the fame and lucky flukes, probably would be living at home for the rest of her life. I think she is too personality disordered to get a husband, she is not cunning enough to pull of what many narcs do in "marrying well"--I think that's the path her mother obviously took, and if you don't have societally acceptable looks you better be up a few notches intellect wise.Five Hundred Pound Peephttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05862707335431442713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-650289478442133391.post-38087663612224995302017-05-25T11:06:16.470-07:002017-05-25T11:06:16.470-07:00Whitney is dangerous in another way. It is well kn...Whitney is dangerous in another way. It is well known that fat people are at a disadvantage at job interviews bec prospective employers still think that "a fat sloppy body indicates a sloppy self indulgent worker" so the fat person is not hired. But no matter how fat Whitney is, she has the safety valve of the foolishly adoring parents who will subsidize her no matter what , "my darliiiinnng chiiiiiild no matter what". Phooey. And Whitney"s education and , yes, certain measure of talent in dancing before the mega fat took over made it possible for her to keep a hold in the dance world (that award from the academy of dance smacked a lot of a "pity" award) afnd of course Daddy dearest gave her the seed money for BGDC. Also Whitney m tok courses in broadcasting in college so she had the background to get a job in just the one area where it doesn't matter what you look like-radio. Brutal as he was, that boy at the gay rights fair WAS telling the truth when he said it was lucky Whitney had the job in radio because "most people don't want to see your fat a__" But other fat girls may not have affluent indulgent parents, nor the special educational/talent circumstances that help Whitney to at least partially earn a living. For 90% of the young women for whom it is imperative to self support via a job, anfd not be a drone on parents, or welfare, or in despair marry men whom they do not love just to have a meal ticket, a personable appearance is a sine qua non for survival. What worked as a combination of lucky flukes for Whitney is the rarity not the rule. She is very misleading.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-650289478442133391.post-63377053978654006522017-04-09T14:01:07.643-07:002017-04-09T14:01:07.643-07:00I know thin people who died of heart problems thou...I know thin people who died of heart problems though. With heart stuff once heart goes, you bloat with fluids, you can't breathe to do things then weight gain comes? I am sure some ate badly but with many the heart problems came first. I realized I had COPD and lung problems by age 21, I was at my thinnest adult weight. Don't fall for the thing that all health problems come from bad behavior.Five Hundred Pound Peephttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05862707335431442713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-650289478442133391.post-8612737973268750622017-04-06T13:02:11.586-07:002017-04-06T13:02:11.586-07:00I am in the cardiac ward currently. I guess is is just a fluke that all of those here with cardiac problems are fat. Mrs. Thore should be like me demanding answers and saying look the dieting isn't working. I'm kind of scared because our food has been so reduced, and little or no weight loss. It does damage the body. I still think she has something very wrong with her because of her desire for an active life and no weight coming off her and the bald spots on her head. However she will never find out what it is, doing the happy to be fat dance. I used to piss people off in NAAFA and size acceptance, in the 600s and near 700 Look Im dying, something needs to be done about this crap! They said I was not fat-loving enough. Screw fat, I hate it.Five Hundred Pound Peephttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05862707335431442713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-650289478442133391.post-280251019235527772016-11-26T07:59:24.003-08:002016-11-26T07:59:24.003-08:00It is refreshing to read something that is just pl...It is refreshing to read something that is just plain common sense about Miss Thore. TLC should be ashamed of themselves for promoting the destructive ambitions and combative rhetoric regarding obesity, that Miss Thore spouts. Obesity kills. Even if you lose the weight, if you have been obese for a long time, the damage is done.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
