Wannabe Rapist for Supreme Court?
The Christian Taliban is running America now. Now they want a wannabe rapist or actual rapist for Supreme Court. I am a survivor so I am pissed. These bastards can't sink any lower in my eyes. These sons of bitches, are insulting 51 percent of the population. Instead of screening for malignant narcissists and sociopaths to be kept out of high level offices, that's whose getting the jobs.
I've had two attempted rapes in my life and other sex abuse related incidents in my life. Watching all this has been extremely triggering. Violent men don't care if a woman is large either, I was almost 6 feet tall and large as most men when I got jumped before. I have faced sexual harassment too, threatened with rape on a job by a man far larger then me at the time, and also grabbed in the chest where I elbowed the man HARD.
Too many don't get that the promotion of wannabe rapists and rapists to the highest offices in the land, walks hand in hand with toxic religion and it's desire for total patriarchy and oppression of women. Patriarchy goes with fascism. What is even scarier is watching all the evangelicals defend this.
This is make or break time for America, if this guy gets in, except things to get far worse for women. If the blue wave fails and Dorito Hitler is voted back in 2020, then this place will become a toxic hellscape. Sociopaths don't apologize or admit wrongdoings. Two women have stepped up at time of me writing this and now maybe a THIRD. Where there's smoke there is fire.
Well, it's basically a pure power grab, isn't it? They can't convince the majority to accept any of their cockamie social engineering schemes -- wow, that's a phrase they might use! (oh, well, it's late) -- so they're going this route. As I've said already, I don't know what's more depressing -- that no one learned from the last spectacle involving Anita Hill, or we've got a ruling class that seems hellbent on repeating it.
ReplyDeleteAfter all, if they were really serious about investigating, they'd either cut the guy loose, or put him on hold, until they know a little bit more about him -- because it's obvious that they didn't know him as well as think they did.
But I don't think it'll end well for them, because they have to know that, the minute the other side gets back in charge -- as they will, because these things are cyclical -- I can't see them shrugging any of that off. The court's legitimacy, or what's left of it, will essentially be left in tatters once the smoke clears. On a worrying note, that collapse may also convince future political actors to simply ignore its edicts, as Andrew Jackson so infamously did in 1832, when he pressed ahead with his removal of the Cherokees from their lands, despite a ruling against it. As Jackson said: "The Supreme Court has made its decision. Now let them enforce it." Which is one thing, if you cheered for, say, a progressive touchstone like Medicare For All -- and not so good if you're among the gay marriages that get obliterated with the swipe of a pen.
Either way, I think we're in for a rough ride, at least in the short run. Though a cramming of Kavanaugh down the national gullet might have the perverse effect of putting the Senate in the Democrats' reach, something that was previously thought a no chance dice proposition. So if there's any solace we can take, that might have to do it. --Mr. Peep
Yeah they want to shove this guy in so he can rule against everything that makes life decent from Social Security to welfare to air cleanliness and quality. It's like Dr. Evil and his henchmen have taken over. I find myself thinking the ruling class basically treats women like shit, and that's why we got this, Clarence Thomas, Anita Hill. The connected spend their college days boozing and using women as objects. It seems this guy would bow out, rather then have all his secrets exposed but we know they are prideful and don't care, and they have enough brainwashed Fox viewers to help him out. No one will trust his rulings or the Supreme Court. Yes, they will ignore the rulings. This nut I found out is even against birth control pills, I guess for the Republic of Gilead they can't have that. I am sure he plans to wipe away gay marriage with a swipe of a pen which is one reason they still have the evangelical base cheering for this guy.

If there's no blue wave this fall, we are all in danger. I hope the Senate is put in Democrat's reach.
