Stamp Collection

I still collect stamps. Some people say stamp collecting is dying, and maybe it is but I still like it. Maybe there will be revival one day of stamp collecting. My collection isn't huge but has a few unique finds in it. It has hundreds of countries represented. I've met some people who had entire rooms given over to stamp books and albums. I could use a new bookshelf or something to store my stamp collection at this point. Collecting stamps can be done by the financially challenged, though it's different. You have to know where to look and it helps to be connected to a stamp club. Sadly, I haven't been to my stamp club in some years [it's 40 miles away one way] but hoping to be able to return one day. Looking up stamps is fun and I still have many to sort, even now.  All stamps pictured are examples of ones I own and looked up.

Here's a collection of articles, I've read over the past 12 months. While the powers that be push the damages of Covid under the rug, or make excuses or do fake theatre for the ones who unleashed Covid on us, some people are still writing and warning about what happened. They have no remorse and will flip us off literally and metaphorically. Many people are still dying out there and some have written about drops in the USA population as a result. Many have "moved on", but the damages still are happening. What worries me, is they can do this to us again because there never was any real justice or truth. The week that they did the fake "show trial" stuff with Fauci, as he rests in his pardon, they approved an mRNA flu vaccine and Trump installed a pro-vaxxer as the head of the CDC.  She was part of nationwide covid vaxx deployment.

I wonder if this is why books got more expensive and seemed harder to come by? Also add to this, I noticed public libraries cleaning out their books over the last few years. They got rid of a lot of old books. This reminds me of the book 1984 where they wiped or got rid of old media so the narrative could be changed.

As I have written here, until humanity does something about the psychopathy problem where psychopaths tend to be the ones who gain power over us, our fate is not going to be a good one. The other week during the Fauci "show trials", I noticed people defending Fauci. It was kind of scary. One friend I had to do the "agree to disagree" thing lest the friendship fold for good. They told me Fauci was a good man who saved millions of lives. I wanted to puke.

 Those of us who have seen evil in life, or people lying and playing two faced games, are more apt to notice them in our midst. I've seen crazy stuff during my life as this blog attests to, so can't deny what I have seen.

Look at all the suffering our so called "leaders" have unleashed on us. Endless useless wars, pain, disasters and economic oppression have been part of the game, some would say for centuries. Many love to see people suffer. It's hard for me not to understand why people don't see evil right in front of their face like in the case of Fauci, but many are unable to believe that someone "could be that evil"!

"Against the Machine": A book I am presently reading

 

I quoted "Against the Machine" in another article recently but wanted to share this video on it, that explains what the book warns about. This book is so good, I'm going to ask my husband to read it when I am done and have been telling friends about it. These issues often come up when we talk about data centers. Kingsnorth's worldview is closer to my own. 

The voices crying out against what is being done to our world are very few in number. Even the leftists who speak of colonialization don't seem to understand when it's happening against people's very souls, nature and our bodies. Right wingers worship progress too. I am midway through this book, and he challenges the technocratic march of society and how it is a threat to humanity and changing what human beings. I probably will be posting more about it when I am done.  This is an issue I have explored too, even before I found this book, such as in this poem.
