Don't Expect Them to Wake Up....

I'm planning to write an article soon on how scapegoats reject other scapegoats in a family system that will be coming later. When I used to talk to mine, I could hear the disassociation, and the shutting down. Emotions were to be denied, there was no reality allowed and everything was run according to status and who had it. They are fully invested in the toxic system.

    1. Thanks Lise, I plan to add more to the article about how trying to wake them up often fails.

  3. I'm curious if most people fall in line to status/hierarchy...or if it's just the dysfunctional ones ruled by toxic personalities? When I use the term "toxic" I mean those who have a deeply rooted pattern of refusing to deal with their own sh.t and therefore habitually, instinctually, and chronically cast in onto others - the scapegoats. All the cluster bs do this, of course. However, more and more I wonder if this is true of most humans beings. Exceptions seem to be those on the autistic spectrum or other small outliers. Those with high conscientiousness also, although I feel these are quite rare in human society based on what I see. I hope my view is skewed because if this is the way most humans operate, it's kinda depressing and scary. I hope your articles explores this.

    1. I think most people follow, the toxics sadly lead the way too easily and there's a lot of get along to get along types who don't want to rock the boat even if they see others being hurt. Some of this is cowardice, fear, some identify with the toxic or lean that way for benefits. My article will be coming soon and I talk a little bit about this. I wonder if there are certain personalities who do go against the "order" more likely, autistics may be more likely to, but there's autistics who have the "rule following" lead the way too. I think high conscientiousness is rare too. Yeah it is scary, I think there's a reason so many leaders become psychopaths, I am exploring some of these things in the article.
