Professor Archive on Churches: Are Churches in America Dying?

...when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on Earth?"  – Luke 18:8

I never found a church and doubt I will. I can't afford church. The teachings leave me cold. Remember in my case, I live a more affluent community, that affects the faith outlooks and types of church that are available. I continued some video tours of area churches, to see if I could find one that would work. There was this Lutheran church where the pastor taught God has made us [people in his church] all rich! Isn't that insane? He meant money too not spiritual richness! Watching this left me in shock. I wasn't interested on Lutheranism but ran across this local church by chance on YouTube.

The last thing I want to deal with now is some rich man demanding a 10 percent cut of our money or preaching things that have no relevance to my life. There's no discernment in these churches. They will tell me to support politicians and war efforts I do not support. The liberal ones will expect me to put aside values that are important to me and will support the system with pandemic mandates.

The reasons why I don't want to go to church anymore:

1. It's an inauthentic atmosphere. You can't be "real". Everything seems based on performance. It's not a place of close relationships or real connection but performative.

2. It is a high status society, those with higher status count the most. This is against the teachings of Jesus Christ [Luke 14]  I saw this in multiple churches. I thought of "biker" churches and even ones that focused on the impoverished, but we didn't have churches like that here.  There is one in the county but it would be a 50 mile round trip and we can't afford it. I considered going to an all African American church, there's no more segregated time than Sunday morning but many were prosperity gospel focused and did not find one that felt it was right for me.

3. It's a money focused society. I'm broke. I can't afford church. Yes, I know pastors need money to live. Professor Archive claims many are poor. Maybe churches where the pastors have outside careers are better because there's not as much pressure for cash among the congregation. Our financial life is so squeezed now, there's no money for anything else.

4. With my disabilities, even hearing a service in person is very difficult, my transcription phone works better one on one. Outside of my first good church in my rural town, I never found the connections/community I was looking for. The UU church was better but our beliefs were too different, and they went down a path with Covid and other matters I could not follow. Unless I move it's doubtful, I will be able to find a church again. Good ones simply aren't here.

5, Many churches are family focused, they even do things like title Wednesday services, "family training hour", those without a family don't fit in and these reminders can be painful on an ongoing basis.

6. Most of the churches around here are very pastor focused, you go and listen to the pastor speak for hours. My second IFB, independent bible studies weren't allowed, you couldn't talk about any religious or spiritual issues in any conversations. It was just listening to this one very boring elderly wealthy man, who loved war and the system speak on and on and on. [the UU was an exception to this and was lay-led as well with a minister doing sermons]

7. There's no discernment. If a pastor can't figure out something was off about Covid/Covid mandates or AI, or other developments in society, why am I even there following some guy that can't even get the smallest glimmer of reality about the world?

8. Watered down teachings. I like studying the Bible but when you repeat the same 10 stories and themes over and over, it gets boring. Some seem like they want to keep their congregants in kindergarten forever instead of studying even into junior high.

9. My own spiritual independence, I don't "fit" anywhere and question too many things. Yes it's my fault. Conspiracy theory truth seekers aren't exactly good fits in churches. Asking a pastor about the book of Enoch just makes them break out in sweats. I don't like how they portray God/Jesus more often than not. "Your God is cruel" and I think just follow this... John 10, "My Sheep Hear my Voice". ... I still ask questions or have beliefs that may get me in trouble in many places. It's easier at this point to remain independent. I watch a lot of Youtube channels, where the people on there talk about being Christians who have left churches.

This commenter is on to something.

"I think people are just tired of sitting on a bench, staring at the back of someone’s head, singing songs as some type of ritual, and listening to a speech. It’s no longer a family, but a corporation where you are the employee and the church is a corporation. Not all are that way, but most are."

So my search for a church hit a dead end, I sometimes do miss church activities and the community even now but realized there was nowhere for me to go. So I put church time into 'art time" and reading and watching spiritual things online and reading my Bible and praying.

One friend told me I should look into the Eastern Orthodox, no Pope but then they don't exactly follow Sola Scripture though I find some teachings interesting like theosis. Some seem very committed. Good Christians are in different places. I like some Catholic writings and stories of saints, I know some would find that odd in the evangelical world and call me a heretic.

I've been watching this channel on Youtube, now he uses AI for the imagery but the essays are good, Professor Archive is exploring the demise of churches in America. It's a very interesting channel.

Some common themes in his videos seem to be.

1. Young people are leaving churches. [by young, this would mean Gen X and below but Millennials and Gen Z are definitely dropping out.

2. Many churches have lost membership,  especially evangelical and Protestant churches. He does seem to think the Eastern Orthodox are gaining in numbers, but I will write more on that later in this article.

3. The pastors know they are in trouble, and the financial picture is full of doom. Many pastors are leaving the field.

4. Prosperity gospel and Politics has ruined the churches.

5. Megachurches and televangelists are going out of style.

6. He talks about how Europe has departed from religion even more so.

8. He talks about the endless sex scandals and other corruption in churches and their leadership.

9.  He talks about those who still believe but have left churches. He calls them "Church Refugees". This would describe me, although my matter was more complex going through my faith troubles and deconstruction. and those who have deconstructed and deconverted.

One video I want to add here is this one, African American churches are being affected too with these church trends. Young people are leaving there. I relate to a lot of this video such as when they talk about "Are you giving 10 percent of your paycheck to a pastor driving a Bentley?" This vlogger definitely refers to African American "church refugees" who still have faith but are done with the feckless pastors who demanded "seed money" and endless "offerings". He's right about the focus on materialism. He talks about TD Jakes and his scandals. He goes on to talk about how the pastor was made a false "middle man" and the false institution.

Professor Archive is right about young people leaving the churches and he provides stats in different videos. I saw this myself. My own generation was very rare in all churches I was in from conservative to liberal. I have written before Gen X kind of has dropped out of society, there's reasons for this. One thing I noticed is I was far younger than most members in all the evangelical churches I was in. People my age, who no longer lived at home were almost non-existent. This was true even of my second IFB circa 2015. I was in my 40s during the 2010s, and every adult in the church was over 60. Baby Boomers dominated every church I was in, even the UU.

The young are checking out, and by young I even mean Gen X and below, because the churches don't pay attention to their concerns, their lives and other issues. There's a point I think where the young simply became voiceless in churches. I'm not sure how that happened. All the focus on helicopter parenting and over-focus on the elders? One thing I noted was all the churches I was in, evangelical included, had youth groups but the kids simply didn't come back to church when they were adults. They stopped attending. Sometimes I think the only reason I was a rare Gen Xer in churches was due to being disabled, I was "retired" young in other words. People my age had other things to do. Work tired them out.

I was a moderator on a deconstruction board for some years. I talked myself on there how unsatisfied I was with the evangelical world. I recovered my faith but the churches nearly pounded it to dust for good. There were many people in their 20s-40s on this deconstruction board. Many talked about how the churches did nothing but criticize them and made endless demands that did not match economic realities. They talked about the harm of purity culture, the pressure to marry young and not pursue educations, the damage from home schooling where they missed out on educational milestones. God seemed cruel and distant to them too. This society is ruining so many spiritually even from its coldness and heartlessness. Where's the love for God or fellow humans in a country that is okay with making people live in tents or storage units without heat or cooling?

Many when entering the "real world" outside of their parent's tutelage, realized how woefully prepared they were. Their churches ignored their concerns, and this was true of me except in my own decent IFB with the sincere pastor. Many talked about spiritual abuse and extreme authoritarianism. Spiritual abuse was part of my past too. One thing I noted in that world, and I hope I was able to help some, was a lot of people were fellow ACONS. Narcissism was dominant in their families and religion used as a tool to "keep them in line".

The authoritarianism and oppression of youth in general is one problem I always had with churches especially after James Dobson broke out on the scene. They promoted parents controlling kids instead of guiding them. They promoted physical punishments, instead of teaching self regulation. The young people knew they had been let down. Many were done with church just based on all these negative experiences. Some retained faith but some did not.

One aspect with churches I believe leading them to failure is their completely and utter abandonment of young people with it comes to how the economy works. Outside of my one good IFB where the pastor warned hard times were coming for America economically, no church dealt with economic reality. They were too busy trying to scoop up as much cash as they could. The UUs weren't greedy like this, but in their wealth they ignored what was happening to young people.

Young people because they cannot afford rent, or groceries and are being crushed by the cost of living, really find no outlet in churches. Will any of the churches address these issues? I doubt they are even now. Some poorer older people too are abandoned too by churches who won't admit what is happening out there.

If your church is joined with those oppressing you, aka the ruling class, the establishment, what good are they? Hmm if I had to sum up my answer to why I don't go to church it would be this. "Because they lick the boots of the ruling class!" I even think about my old UU pastor, nice guy but the heavy promotion of the Covid vaxx, that meant I and he were done for good. Yes, I did warn him, in emails, you all know in 2021, I was reading all this stuff about the vaxx. It was just more not being listened to. That happened in other churches too, with the second IFB pastor, I wanted to talk about the bible, he treated me like an underling wasting this time. That happened a lot with these rich pastors, the narcissism was off the chart. They were always these busy "glad-hander" types. The sincere guy was more shy, that was more trustworthy than the ones who were so popular and "charismatic".

One question I have for people reading this, if you got to church is your pastor talking about the true state of the economy is he admitting it? There are some churches who do help the poor and homeless, surely some of them are seeing the numbers go up. Do any of them talk about it? There's Barber but he seems like a rare exception.

And speaking of young people, when they have no money to even afford a life of their own and pay for the basics, how are they going to pour money and energy into a church? Someone with two jobs who can't even keep the rent paid isn't going to be building the foundations of a community church, they simply can't.  They can't afford the 10 percent tithes. Some pastors don't realize the heavy burdens they lay on people like Pharisees is having some stay away. I noticed a few times, that Professor Archive basically was stating that churches will be closing their doors. These pastors who have neglected to even mention the economic realities of today betrayed young people too.

Information is more available too, some are questioning their church's teachings. With the internet, you can explore any and every religion and churches teachings and study bible versions, history, and other faith issues. The young have access to websites that may even question their branch of religion, their pastors and more. They may go into faith exploration or periods of doubt or questioning. They may deconstruct or even deconvert. I deconverted very young, the internet wasn't around but the library fueled my doubts.

Nowadays with the internet and online communities where you can discuss things, the young have access to far more education. Some will be truth seekers. They may still love Jesus but they aren't going to put up with as much bologna from pastors. In the 80s the televangelists were going strong, there was one Elmer Gantry like fellow who would "sell" magic water for a donation on the TV. Jim Bakker got his cash, golden dog house, and then got hit with scandals. Back then there was a lot of money to be handed over. Todays young aren't so naive. An educated person with full access to the internet and news about church scandals isn't going to be filling up money envelopes for these shysters.

The Baby Boom generations back in the 60s and 70s had the New Age groups, Utopian groups and Jesus freak groups break out in the 1970s. They were more apt to join religious groups. Of course tradition back in the 50s was you went to church wherever your family did and followed in their footsteps. That's another issue that has emptied out the churches, economic nomads who have to move for jobs, don't follow Mom and Dad into their home church. That has broken up with the demise of family and connections.

Gen X kind of checked out, we saw those wayward televangelists get caught, we got disgusted watching Bakker with his dog house, and creepy Pat Robertson demanding more money on the 700 Club. While strong faith can be found among Gen Xers, we trust institutions far less. Why should we? They are so corrupt now. It is interesting that Professor Archive, has done several videos on the demise of megachurches and televangelists. Joel Osteen stepped down but had been losing members. Copeland has lost members. Some megachurches have closed and shut down. It's obvious these churches focusing on prosperity gospel are going to fail especially in the Depression 2.0 economy. With time, people will learn the theology of these money-masters simply has failed and is empty inside.

The truth of the economy is closing the doors even of decent churches and sincere pastors, with congregations of people who can't afford their basic bills anymore, so that's part of things too.

Churches are losing membership, that's a known fact. I visited churches in this town 20 years ago when I first moved here, and then 10 years ago looking for churches [after I left Calvary Chapel which closed soon after.] There were churches with 6 people in them for Sunday service all over the age of 65. A lot of churches in this town close and this is probably true all over. You see a church that is there one day gone the next.

Professor Archive says the Orthodox church in America is growing. Many all the disaffected evangelicals are filling their pews. There may be a novelty factor there too or an idea of more tradition and thousands of years of history. The evangelical world moved towards shallowness, maybe people see more depth with the Orthodox.  I've pondered the Orthodox church but have too many misgivings based on Sola Scripture and other teachings. I don't know what direction the Catholic church is taking. I have issues with the Vatican and other teachings though there's parts of it I have nostalgia for like the nuns.

Some pastors know there is trouble, you can't keep a church going when every member is over 70. My last two churches, most members were over 65 years of age. Younger adults were either few in number or just not there at all. Prosperity gospel ruined the churches, it may sell when people are flush with cash, but when the money doesn't pour in and you get poorer and poorer, the false promises are obvious. Trying to sell Prosperity gospel during the Second Depression is just dumb.

People also have tired of the culture wars, I know I got tired of it all, left and right battling it out. Woke vs Christian Nationalism. I can't stand either side. That probably applies to some others. If one isn't a Republican or a Democrat where do you go to church? Where do you go to church if you want a pastor who isn't a bootlick to the Establishment or ruling class or globalists? Bill Gates was a great guy in my old UU church. Trump was the Orange 'savior" in the second IFB. People are worn out. Some are realizing things aren't adding up. There's only so much they can excuse as real life implodes. How many churches questioned Covid? A few stayed opened and protested mandates but they were the minority.

Megachurches will fail, they remind people of corporate conference halls, fake smiles, like a hotel meeting. The pastors carry their briefcases full of money, and there's endless employees to keep the showtime going.  If you need a shuttle bus to go to church, you're in a crowd not a close group of people who will have your back. Europe is far more secular. I have European friends, church isn't even part of their world. They tell me America is so religious. No one goes to church here but very old people or if there is a wedding.

I do think there are many who still believe in God but are done with church, I found the videos on church refugees of interest.

Some explore house churches though that's a gamble. People do seem to want more authenticity. I always thought there should be churches for poor people to have community and pray, but then no pastor would be making money in a group of impoverished people. Some may find me too cynical about churches, remember I had good experiences like with my first IFB. I did find these videos interesting though about the trends now happening.

Is College Worth It? Not Anymore!

Is college worth it? Not Anymore! Small colleges are starting to close in my state. Many colleges are shutting down programs since there are no jobs in those fields. Maybe angry resentful graduates contacted them, maybe they noticed the numbers dropping and have adjusted accordingly. It didn't escape my notice most were cutting art education and journalism, two fields I and my husband shared.

This website tracks all the college cuts and closures. You can see the different closures and program cuts there. Art schools are closing, most of them led to their students being unemployed anyway. The movie Art School Confidential showed some of the absurdity of art schools, twenty years ago. Charles Schultz may have gotten some practical lettering and other classes in his city art school in Minneapolis, but those schools changed. Graphic design was dying when I was in school 30 years ago and switching over to computers. AI has taken over a lot of graphic design, you can see small companies posting the AI ads all over the place. Fine arts? I was in a state college to get my art education degree but most fine art degrees lead to unemployment. Yes some artists do make a daily living at it, but it is very competitive. If you can sell ANY art usually you are a doing quite well.

While art education is a positive, sadly in this utilitarian and growing totalitarian society, art is not valued anymore. Many artists are self-taught. I learned far more via the art centers than I did in college. There were so many missing holes I had to fill as an adult, this included obtaining proper art supplies and how to wire a painting. I'm not sure if I should judge my state school or not, some may say well they may have influenced you to continue learning, even while disabled. A lot of my life now is spent on studying art and making it. It's limited, the spoons are short in supply, but it's a large component of my life. Some may say, "Hey wait a minute, you got life enrichment then from your education!" Maybe so, but I don't want young adults to end up struggling like I did or not being able to support themselves, so this is why I warn on here. It wasn't all bad. Intellectual curiosity can exist outside of college too, my life was spent in libraries as well before I went to college.

I started college way too young at 17. I have told young people don't major in art, or art education if you are not independently wealthy. The jobs just are not there and the schools are cutting the arts programs all over. In my case, I can't decide, maybe if the body hadn't gone crazy, I may have been okay, and gotten a regular teaching job. Some said I was good at it. It's weird sometimes, I have taught art in volunteer situations, with helpers like in a one off class [only one day a week for an hour or so because physically I can't do any more] and people have told me, "You are good at teaching art!" It was kind of weird. Deafness would make this impossible now even for the volunteer situations I did on rare occasions. If you love a subject enough, enthusiasm and passion can float a teaching boat. It did for me.

Finding a viable career was on my mind, when I was doing my paralegal program. Some months ago, I was telling a close friend about how in my early 20s, the attempt to switch to being a paralegal. "It was time to be practical!" She told me people are born to be artists, and she saw that in me. I nodded, we were sitting in an art center where I had just shown some art. The paralegal field got glutted, soon after. Maybe in the 1990s if I had finished instead of becoming disabled I would have been okay but by 2002, the legal field included for lawyers was glutted to the max. Those with law degrees were going for the paralegal jobs too! One almost needs a crystal ball to know what career to choose anymore. Isn't STEM and health care being flooded now? It has to be.

I commented on this video and wrote: "Go to Vocational school while in high school for a specific job, that will put you ahead of many, don't waste money on college unless you are going to be a doctor or are talented at STEM. One can learn many things on their own now too via internet, libraries etc. One learns by DOING too with art, computers and more. You don't need to pay someone 10s of thousands of dollars to spoon-feed you.  The jobs don't pay enough to warrant this much debt, yes wake up young people!"

Have any of you tried to give advice to young people? Some of the young people in my family have been okay, the nepotism wheel has rolled for most of them as I have written about. My family is not typical. I've met far too many who have become perpetually unemployed and have less career hope then I had for a time. One thing makes me angry, is when I see someone with high functioning autism/Aspergers comes out of high school, and nothing is provided for them as far as making a living with any training. It's crazy what do these schools expect them to do, flip burgers? You need intense social skills for most other jobs like waitressing, child care and being a barista. There's no realistic preparation.

More young people should take advantage of vocational school in high school.  Get the skills for a basic job and then if you want to go to college later, it's a possibility. Hopefully those school programs have not been shut down. It was ironic, I used to substitute teach at one, and thought these kids probably will be able to get a job out of high school far easier than me, that will keep the bills paid. I had my reservations then already trapped in substitute teaching hell with feelings of wishing I could dial back time. I was not gaining independence fast enough from my family. College in my day cost a lot of money, but they didn't make it crushing as it is today. My alma mater, now wants around $125,000 for a 4 year degree! Will that pay off for most people? No Way!  Laying out that much money to get a 15 dollar an hour job just isn't worth it! Spend the money on a small house, you'll go much further.

I've written about regretting going to college online some years ago.

"Be careful of spending money on college, sometimes I think if one is going to spend 30,000 plus, oops college is 100,000 plus now, my old Alma Mater wants 25,000 a year, when I went to college it cost around 6,000 a year. Back then I could have purchased a small house for what it cost. Vo-ed in high school-LOL weird I substitute taught there later, would have been a far better outcome. Housing is what will strip you clean as you get old and if you are a renter in your 50s like I am, it is hell and the costs always go up up up.

They are getting people with property taxes but I wish I had paid attention to HOUSING first. College didn't pay off for me. I wonder if young people are realizing college isn't paying off anymore. We are both college educated and poor as dirt. Both of us have full bachelors. I never made more than 14 an hour. BTW they pay less at some jobs I had 30 years ago. I made 12 an hour as a residential counselor in 1996, they pay them 10 dollars here, 30 years later. I made 14 an hour at my juvenile home in 1990, people in programs like that make only 15-17 an hour now.

And yeah they wonder why people are so much poorer?

My husband considers college worth it, and disagrees with me on this matter. He does prize education. He's written books.  College definitely did spare him manual labor during his life. His career in newspapers lasted longer too. He saw college as a fulfilling place. I got into his college and could have gone there but picked the cheaper school. We could have met sooner!

I liked some parts of college quite a bit, some good memories were made there. Yes, this makes it complex. Some may even say to me, "Well you got 14/12 an hour instead of the 1980s/90s minimum wages which ranged from $3.35-5.30 an hour in our state!" In my dream world, college would be expanded and my neo-Renaissance world would have people hanging out the library and researching and studying things just for the joy of it but sadly in America, this isn't reality. Years ago, I got into this strange internet conversation, where I told these other people, maybe some folks should start underground colleges, that were far cheaper. They did have lecture societies in the 19th century! Credentialism and turning college into a career training field probably ruined it. It costs too much, and got bloated with too many administrators, and college sports.

Can college pay off for anyone? It is a gamble. Those who are talented in STEM careers sometimes can be okay but you better do your research and examine where things are now like IT and computer programming. One reason STEM does pay better is there are far less people with an aptitude for it than other more ordinary fields. Some say health care is the way to go but make sure you research how much doctors and PAs have to borrow. Be mindful of how high those debts can go and the rules that may be imposed on you. Some degrees that seemed to have led people to dead ends are Communications, Psychology--[you usually just end up getting a job in a group home for 12-13 an hour], English, Drama/Theatre, gender studies, Sociology, Education, Anthropology, Art History, Philosophy, Theology, Foreign Languages [unless you are a Native Speaker seriously don't bother, that's who they will hire], Hospitality, Journalism [We know first hand journalism has died.], Fashion Design, Fine Arts and Film Studies. It's kind of sad because many people love these subjects. Our society is growing totalitarian and that means no more art or less focus on enriching intellectual pursuits. One friend I was having this college conversation with, summed it up well. She told me college used to be a place to learn liberal arts and how to think, now it's just a useless and expensive trade school.

Diary of a "Conspiracy Theorist": The Epstein Files and a Society Gone Insane

This video has had almost 2 million views. Notice the connections that are outlined, both sides, both parties, and pay close attention to the stuff on Musk, Gates and Thiel. The vlogger wisely points out these are the "elite of the elite" making present day decisions on our lives! He also points out how many of these influential people remained by Epstein's side even after they knew he was a p*do.

It looks like the conspiracy theorists were right again. Our leaders really are that bad. They don't care about you or me. They are out for profit and power and abuse both to harm others.

One thing I notice reading their emails that have been shown, is bad grammar, lack of deep ideas, connection and humanity. They are boring, shallow and vapid as they trade millions of dollars like candy.

                                                Yes, that's it indeed

"a theoretical chart about who rules the world"

As people here know, I am to many, what some people call a "conspiracy theorist". The term reality theorist applies more. My life has grown weird watching things I used to warn about on a conspiracy and bible prophecy blog come true. Around 2014, I put a comment on my own blog, that they would rally the whole planet against threats like VIRUSES.

I became "new world order" aware in the late 90s. It had to do with reading this book on Waco and reading anti-war literature. I watched some X files too. When I was young I read all sorts of esoteric books ranging from Carl Jung to Theosophy which impacted my world view in piecing things together. When I had my faith troubles, I even backed away for a time questioning conspiracy. However I realized, the system really had something majorly wrong with it. Some of the conspiracies were true. Conspiracy people talked about the elites being Luciferian creeps as far back as the 2000s. They would write essays on Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut movie and it's deeper meaning.

The Epstein files have dropped. The list contains endless celebrities, politicians from both parties, and heads of corporations. I hope some have kept up with the news but many heinous crimes have been exposed. I can't write about what has been exposed here. The vlogger above gives general information. I don't want another post taken down. Mainstream news has talked about the Epstein Files now. Just go google it.

Avoid playing the embedded videos at this link, I didn't watch them myself! This link will bring up how pandemics were mentioned in the Epstein files, it wasn't good. Gates is all over this stuff.

BREAKING: The Epstein Files Illuminate a 20-Year Architecture Behind Pandemics as a Business Model—With Bill Gates at the Center of the Network

All the names in Epstein's black book, you can see the flight manifests on this website too.

One interesting fact about the Epstein Files, is within in them, the creeps discuss pandemic planning. Those of us who did not trust authority or the creeps in charge are far better off.

Here's one of the picture of the files. I hope to God, the truth is out there now about the Covid shots, but I felt like passing out seeing another friend said she is getting one this week! How'd she miss the latest news?

I'm of the belief the Epstein Files are being used in some way. A distraction? Perhaps to get people riled up for something like an Arab Spring in America? Epstein was most likely an intelligence asset of some sort. Our debauched leaders are just like Genghis Khan; they are the same thing doing sick things because they can get away with it and they have no consciences. These types don't care about women, and children. People are chattel to them and have been for centuries. Some people wrote and warned that the Epstein Files are to get people to tear down the old system to replace it for a false "great awakening" and turn people towards a new system of AI, and other controls. One claimed it would be the way to transfer everything to the WEF or another system of government to control us even worse. Some old time conspiracy theorists, claimed it was an "order out of chaos" approach and others claimed it was a psych-op like this guy below. If one reads enough Doug Valentine books and explores other writings about the world, they will know many of the extremely wealthy have profited from wars, illegal drugs and human trafficking.

He's right about our institutions being corrupt.  I have my own theories too. Maybe one approach is to desensitize people to the most evil things and rip down people's souls and hearts with endless evil stories. Maybe it is simply so they can get glee at rubbing their unprosecuted crimes in our faces with the message, "We can do anything we want!"  The whole internet seems designed to elicit constant mental outrage and angst. The propaganda, algorithms, and emotional manipulations has gotten tiring.  The famous are annoying, boring and now loathsome.

Don't look at those files too close, I shut things down after looking at a few articles and pictures to protect myself. They are bad for abuse victims. Others should be cautious too.  Pray for more children to be rescued. Maybe this is a distraction that gets them off the hook for Covid and poisoning millions of people with Covid shots. The news seems to be endless distractions and "Look over there!" mandates. Are they going to do more alien crap now like they did when they claimed there was stuff in the sky like the Atlas Comet, Northern Lights and drones? Gates/Big Pharm and others got their giant money clean out and turned society totalitarian and towards being a police state. See anyone demanding justice over Covid anymore? No one's been arrested, Prince Andrew was, but that's the only one I know of. Maybe a few EU politicians were.

"Follow the money" is one saying.

Society has taken a path that disgusts me. Nothing was the same after Covid. I don't feel the same about other people given the endless betrayals and slavish devotion to wicked leaders.  I escaped into art which helped me in daily life. I also have my own religious beliefs to make sense of things. Sadly most of the population is brainwashed and believes in this system even after all this being exposed.

It's hard to know who to trust or what are lies or aren't lies. My general outlook is not to trust any leaders anymore. Why would anyone at this point? But they do.

American society with the poverty and more has become a dystopia. Are any institutions trustworthy anymore?

I'm figuring out how to escape mentally and otherwise. Even with the conspiracy stuff while I still read some things, I only have so much control over what is done. So it's better to live ones life focusing on what one can control and improve the world in some small way even if it is ruled over by scum. This society has become a poisonous one, filling the mind with negative things and horrors beyond belief. There's little sanity or reason anymore. There's no adults in charge, only debauched sickos. Maybe some local politicians are real and not owned by the WEF, but things have certainly declined.

Celebrities grossed me out years ago. I open a People magazine and barely know who two-thirds of them are. I haven't had up to date TV in three years, everything I watch is at least 20-30 years old on Pluto. You Tube is the only exception. Some commercials pop up here and there on the internet and more and more I'm glad, it's a good thing I'm too poor to afford up to date brainwashing via the tell-a-vision. Another escape for me has been old books, the older the better but even the 50s-70s will suffice for more sanity and when people still had some moral foundations. I still read independent zines too. Now the zine world can lean liberal but there's still some old school liberals who write about decent environmental real world issues like water sheds and other hobby-related stuff.

I suppose for me this became the art world and time with friends though I still wish I could find a church that weren't slavish devotees to the system. I wondered if my old minister at the second IFB is glad he got his war with Iran.

My husband is NOT into conspiracy theory. He thinks the present system can still be saved. I thought who is going to do the saving? He believes in the progressive wing of the Democratic party. Sure there's a few old school liberals out there, but I consider them rare as Dodo Birds. He told me, "You need to stop watching those doom prophets on YouTube!" He thinks they are a "bad influence". I told him, "Well one reason I watch some of them, is these are the only people who will talk honestly about the economy [well outside that really small town I escaped to sometimes] and talk about what is happening". I also told him, "Well I may curb back on some of that stuff, if society does collapse into an AI even more hellish dystopia, what can I do about it? We need to enjoy what we can of some life."  I still need to ask him what he thinks of this Epstein stuff. I know the Epstein revelations have woken up some friends recently. It's gotten both MAGA folks, and liberals to question the two party system more than ever seen before.

Demoralization has taken over the land, like the powers that be want everyone depressed, sad and feeling like all is lost. I felt frustration with some of the vloggers I was watching, "How come you lot never come up with solutions?" I wish I was in better health to exact some change. Even for all of us being poor as dirt, how come no one is setting up soup kitchens, or groups to share resources? I looked up mutual aid societies, I supposed those are happening here and there, but I'm surprised there's not more. How come no one is dropping out yet or forming parallel societies? Maybe they are and I just don't know about it. Will any of the "no kings" people protest the Epstein crap, or will it still be brainwashed signs where they can't admit Clinton, Democrats and liberal celebrities were a part of that system as well?

My articles on my conspiracy past are all over this blog

One reason, I am not in a new evangelical church, is I can't see me going for Mrs. Kirk speeches, and lectures by Dave Ramsey. One online friend who is not a Christian, says the elite manipulate using religious things, that is not beyond the realm of possibility in my book. Her theory is that they use "Satanic panic" to steer society and create outrage and horror for control. Evil and Satan are real, but I see this as a possibility. Even I was rolling my eyes at a certain point at some of the "entertainment" crap, thinking when's the devil going to jump the shark, seeing one disgusting display by Sam Smith. Satan's workers abound, but I thought words like.... "cheesy".

Isn't there a point this stuff gets obvious and boring?

Hmm had the thought now, in this sick society: "They are eating the cats and dogs" has now via Epstein become "they are eating the people?" [yes seriously that discussion is in there, but don't dig too deep for your own sake] They've proven the crimes against children and women by Epstein and pals, but I don't know if some of the other stuff is true or not.

There's probably a reason I got shadow banned from X, posting memes like this one:

Is there anyone like me out there that thinks "You are all full of crap" and remember Trump did a few things I agreed with like the USA leaving the WHO. Trump also last night talked about the economy booming. Gaslight city still.

The liberal world would betray as much as the "conservative" world would.

Anyone getting a clue yet that a society managed by the debauched isn't going to head in a positive direction? Some say well world leaders have always been evil. Maybe so, but they didn't have the level of technology we have today.

Remember this article?

Me and Revelations

Still agree with this one. Never thought the world would go this insane. This verse is applicable when thinking of our world leaders. "Spiritual wickedness in high places" is obviously a given. Whatever these people are guilty of, they aren't like ordinary people. Their power and money has led them to evil places.

I also thought of this verse when this Epstein stuff came out:

Truth-tellers and Truth seekers don't have an easy path in this world. Normies don't think things like "There's something wrong with this world!" or ponder the possibilities of this being a prison planet. They still think world leaders are well intended. Maybe suffering opens up one's eyes to the reality of the world or brings people to question it. A lot of people don't trust the conspiracy theory world. There is a dark side to it. They can use conspiracy to lie too, there's conspiracies I consider complete bunk like the Mandela Effect meant to make people distrust their own memories and others that just bring fear. That said, conspiracies where people plan evil things are real. We have a thin sliver of people who have a huge amount of power and money, they are not good people. I don't know exactly that everything being exposed about the Epstein Files is true, especially the more extreme stuff, but there's been enough proven in courts, to know women and children have been abused. That means psychopaths are running this place.

I will never understand why people trusted this jerk:

People don't even know the WEF exists and how all the results of life lately seem to be what they want.

Carlin summed things up well

and they called all the people crazy who said, that our leaders are evil........and may be up to no good....

GATES_COMPENDIUM_CHRONOLOGICAL_NUCLEAR.pdf - Google Drive

Epstein's investments with Thiel

I don't have many answers on this stuff. I will still write about world events, but in real life I plan to disengage from the system as much as possible, art is something I have focused on as of late. If someone is in the Epstein files, I refuse to watch their movies, that would include Woody Allen and others. I shut off my TV when I see one of these people on the screen, and no longer read or watch the words of politicians and others that were involved. Bill Clinton disgusts me as much as any politicians on the right. I don't want my emotions manipulated. It's kind of like "no contact". Why be "in contact" with psychopaths? Famous ones or not? They have nothing to say to me because they are "people of the lie".  One reason society has gone insane, is they no longer believe that good and evil exist, they have no discernment and have become fodder for psychopaths.

A Response to My Estranged Parents Article From Lise of Misadventures with Angry Alcoholics, Bullies and Narcissists

there are a few cases this doesn't apply to, but  it applies to most.

Peep's Article on Adult Children and the "No Contact" Trend With Parents in the USA. Is Narcissism Really Behind It?

Here's the article Lise was responding to:

Backlash Against No Contact

Thanks for talking about my Fat Pat book too! Yes that book zine talks about how and why I left. Two friends read my book, and told me, "My God, we don't know how you survived!" I wrote the book as fiction and with humor, but the story speaks for itself!

Lise's article goes into many details about "going no contact" and why it has spread and the reaction of estranged parents. Yes, the estranged parents are in an uproar! I have their pages appear all over my social media. I am noticing growth among these pages, there are thousands of posts of outraged parents. There's a FEW who seem more innocent, their child left because they were a conservative and the child was liberal and vice a versa. There were religious disagreements, sometimes an adult child will leave parents behind if their life doesn't turn out, they have legal problems, time in jail, substance abuse problems and they don't want to include Mom and Dad in those problems. The majority of the estranged parents seem angry with an inability to see things from their adult children's perspective with possible NPD in the mix.

Lise has a lot of good advice for the parents, who are lamenting their children going no contact. She also talks about how many of the estranged parents are retaliating against their adult children who have left. I noticed that too. Their anger isn't the type to bring reconciliation but seems rooted in revenge and "might makes right" attitudes.

"Many of these parents feel they have been really good parents and that therapists are mistaken in suggesting or supporting "no contact" as an answer to their child's distress.

And some of them are taunting their children too: "Just you wait and see! I'm going to have a perfectly peaceful happy life without you! In fact, I'm going to forget you ever existed! My life is mine going forward and you are never going disrupt it with your complaining and issues ever again!"

I have no problem with parents "finding a way to be happy without their children", but the taunt will never build a bridge should you ever want them back, or to teach them about good "bridge building" or "what reconciliation looks like". Maybe you don't want them back ever again, and that's your choice, but make sure it is a choice that you can live with for the rest of your life as taunting is very unlikely to change the trajectory of "no contact" that your child has initiated."

I saw many posts on these boards where the attitude was "I don't need you!", I'm going to be happy!" There is a lot of economic boasting with some who are in the upper classes, "I'm going to take that trip, or that cruise or redecorate my house!" After I left and went no contact there was taunting. Some may remember this  old post, "My Second Daughter".  she mocked me on social media where most of the family would have seen it. I had her blocked but was told about the post from a friend who warned me that a high school mate, who was friends with my mother and sister was betraying me. Some things filtered back to me from family members before I went no contact from the entire family. Her entire stance was "I never did anything wrong." and she told other family members I was "paranoid" and "making things up." Because my mother was so severe in her would be Cluster B disorders, there wasn't even going to be pretend apologies or any attempts to deal with the two page letter I had mailed her of why I was leaving and said she could write to an email I left her, "although you need to treat me like a human for once". That email was never written to. I had left an opening, she never took it. I knew she would not.

Lise is right that it is about power, and control and the psychopathic ones [which I suspect applies to my own] will never have regret or regret in hurting someone. They don't have the necessary empathy for any true reconciliation to be possible. They expect you to get back in line with no work, effort, giving or change from their end.

The taunting on these boards is horrible and Lise mentions that too:

Parental taunting of your own children or any child is a narcissistic trait, and its another reason why you may not want to use it (it may be used as proof for your child), even if you feel angry and want to lash out. So is retaliatory behavior. It can peg you as a narcissist and give a child proof.

I noticed the taunting, and it could be triggering to see some of these boards showing up in my feed from my algorithms [I belong to a lot of ACON boards] and one can see the taunting and put downs continuing even as they complain about their adult child who is gone. Why would they come back? There's endless videos on YouTube where taunting is repeated. Some give cold hard statements like "Move On!" and "I don't care anymore". I saw where a very angry parent quoted a verse from Proverbs 30:17

As thus

"Proverbs 30:17 NIV The eye that mocks a father,

that scorns an aged mother,

will be pecked out by the ravens of the valley,

will be eaten by the vultures."

Is that going to bring their adult child back as they imagine themselves being pecked by ravens? Many of us felt hen pecked to death as we walked out the door.

Lise is right to point out that too many put forth the front they were exceptional parents and focusing on shaming their children. How is that supposed to work? She's right that is ineffective for reconciliation. Most of the adult children have already had guilt haunt them for decades. Nothing was ever enough to these parents. One couldn't make a move without criticism, invalidation or being told they were wrong. People get tired.

She is also fair in pointing out that some do have children leave who are not narcissists and who desired to have real relationships. I concede those situations exist too, sometimes a child will have a personality disorder or will have addiction problems.

Lise points out how "no contact" has become very common. What's happening? More on that later.

Sadly many of the estranged parents just want to fight back, get revenge and trash their own children.

"When I look at Peep's blog post on this, and the responses of parents going through this, it becomes obvious that it's not going to get better by parents retaliatating against their child (because it is a generational shift after all) and going "no contact" themselves with their children, or indulging in all of tit-for-tat I'm seeing, is copying what these adult children are doing. It would be hypocritical, right?"

It is a mess isn't it? She sums this up well, where is the retaliation going to go but round and round?

"Who wants children if they are just going to divorce you, right? And who wants parents if they invalidate, don't listen, are so far from understanding a child's personality, thoughts, experiences, feelings and childhood and adult needs, that parents are treating children like their workers who they can fire at any time? What child would want a life like that, right?"

This statement stood out to me, maybe there's a reason Gen Z and millennials don't want kids, even beyond the economic factors. If their parents were regretful, hated it, and family life was an exercise in misery why replicate it? I was too infertile and sick to have children but there was that backdrop of me remembering how much my parents hated dealing with their own children. It was obvious my parents did not like me. Love seems very short in supply now. As I have written on this blog for years, children are seen as trophies, status symbols and objects. When the trophies don't perform and don't bring status, they are treated like crap. Yes, they are treated like workers that can be fired at any time. One thing many ACONs write about is how they felt like interlopers in their own house, their parents stared them down even as they ate a bologna sandwich like they took that food out of their mouths. If there is no feeling like being part of a family in early years, what's going to keep an adult child sticking around? You were resented, you were not wanted, once adulthood rolls around you can then walk away!

There's a reason the younger generations are walking away. One of my prevailing theories for why no contact has increased, is there is no understanding or connection about the changed economic fate of younger generations. This is the first generation in history where they had no investment [in most cases] in the betterment of their children.

Our prospects sunk like rocks, and we were judged by parents who had no empathy or understanding. Get called a loser long enough, is that a relationship you want to stay in? I suffer now, being in a boomer dominant town, where people live lives I could never dream of, and there's a lot of accompanying judgment there. There's exceptions to this of course but I feel like the little match girl around these rich people and as they walk by me, there's these type of attitudes: "Why are you so unhappy? Why can't you do these things? You are so negative!" I feel pressure to keep a mask on, it's hard. Somewhere along the line, many people stopped being able to walk in other people's shoes, conceiving of what their lives were really like. What use is a family where Mother bought two homes, wintered in Florida, shopped her way through life and you can't even pay the light bill? In the case of Gen Z and millennials, you live with a huge cadre of roommates into an advanced age, and you can't even afford your own place. Lack of money means you never get to grow up. You never become an equal. You are considered a failure.

I saw one outraged Gen Z dealing with economic issues lamenting they were stuck in arrested development and forever adolescence and this is true! There's a point where poverty makes one unable to reach normal adult milestones. Now you have millions of people who have been blocked from normal adult milestones, this is a recipe for social disaster on multiple levels. You think the young are happy now, as they see the bottom kicked out? I know of young people with nice normal loving parents, who are living in RV campers ashamed to go home, because they "failed", now imagine if you have a cold parent who blames you!

This has formed incredible disrespect from the older generation [boomers usually though there are some well off older Gen X who succeeded in tech and healthcare] who look down at their failed "forever adolescent" adult children who could not attain home ownership, careers or even having families. This can happen between a Gen X poorer 60 year old still scrapping by in apartments and an established "pillar of society" 80 year old. I've
lamented enough on here over how the expectations were so high and I did not enough money to live properly or even get my needs met and I live better than many younger people in my own apartment.

The unequal standing takes a toll.  The poorer children, know by a certain age things aren't going to get better.  Poor and underemployed at 40 is different than at 25 and the millennials entered their 40s long ago. They picture themselves homeless in a ditch, or are living in a storage shelter already or a rental room and then they look at "Mom" in her large home, money for new clothes, meals out, a level of dignity they will never have. Add to this "Mom" is respected, they are not and "Mom" blames them for their poverty.  Why wouldn't a person walk in that case? The economic devastation between generations is a giant cause of the fact of so many having gone no contact. The prodigal son, or daughter really has no home anymore. No one understands or admits your reality.

And here's one thing I've noticed, older generations are very focused on success. After all they were indoctrinated into the American dream, and now the young realize that's over and there's no one to validate or even understand their experiences. National media isn't going to do it. The old perverts who are in charge aren't. Everything's been monetized so even finding the areas of life that used to sustain people like spirituality and more are far harder to come by. Now I don't want to do a blanket statement here, there are exceptions to this rule. I have noticed living in a very affluent boomer dominant town, that a lot of focus on life is achievement and always being "busy" and competition. I see these retired ladies, who always seem on the move. I can't fathom it. It kind of exhausts me. Status seems to be what floats the entire boat. The experience is so different between different generations, maybe that's where some of the disengagement is coming from as well.

Lise sees some of the economic disconnection too:

As far as going "no contact" over toxic family issues, it's complicated, and often "the choice of last resort". But there are reasons why Gen Z is going this way: many of them "just can't take added stress any more", at least where they are at this particular time, with many trying to find good paying jobs, some of them trying to pay off student loans with higher interest rates than their parents had to endure, trying to find adequate living quarters, trying to find a mate, trying to avoid the uptick of viruses since the pandemic hit, and all of the challenges that young adults are facing in today's world.

Many in these younger generations have seen the bottom fall out, and were raised with false expectations. I saw a few videos on YouTube where some talked about how college was a scam and their parents lied to them about college bringing a good job, and now they had all this debt. The challenges are much higher for young people. I was poor as a young adult, but I still had a lot more fun, concerts, clubs, records, art, train trips, day trips, computer lans, movies, eating out, bookstores, than I see the young of today having. No money means no fun. Their lives are austere. They have to work a lot of hours, but there's very little of the leisure we got to enjoy in the 80s and 90s. They don't have much to look forward to. Even from my standing of having had a hard life, I feel sorry for a lot of them. I dare say there's a reason many of them have gotten fed up with their parents.

Maybe that's why 30 percent have checked out. They got tired of being put down, given false promises, those of course with abusive parents tired of the endless criticism and more.

I like that Lise also basically states, stop the narcissistic behavior, criticism etc. With so many lacking accountability, the self-examination of their own behavior is very lacking. I examined myself as to why the relationship with my mother failed. I have comic journals from 1999-today. The one from 2002 is interesting. I wrote things like "I was a horrible daughter, I wasn't clean enough, I was autistic". I drew myself crying and mother getting mad as if I really was a burden, so I did the thing of trying to see things from her eyes. That is when I was in very conservative churches [my first one was a happy experience] and on my "forgiveness" kick. I can say with surety my mother has never examined one fault in her entire life. The narcissistic ones, think they are perfect. They will never look in a mirror and ask "What did I do wrong for this relationship to fail?" I am dealing with troubles, where I have asked myself "What is wrong", "what did I do?" I'm noticing impatience surrounding my health problems. You think people are excited to talk to someone on a machine? Some pundits may say "People are jerks" but most ACONS blamed themselves for years, trying to fix things, trying to be whoever the people around them wanted them to be and they got TIRED. At times, I had this thought, "People go no contact from sheer exhaustion". Maybe it's my chronic fatigue talking, I don't know.

Lise then addresses the parents, and asks them questions from their side and the adult children who wish to go no contact. Check these parts out. If you are an estranged parent, go down the list and ask yourself these things. It's a very good list.

For the rest of the blog I have two sections, one for If you want to tell your child you are enjoying life without him or her, that sends a myriad of messages you may not want to send if what you actually want is reconciliation. One of the messages that you send when you say that you are enjoying life without them is that "parent and child estrangements are acceptable, joyful and normal, and I'm enjoying the estrangement." - probably not a good idea if you want a healthy bond.

If life is truly better without him or her in your world, make sure you want to send this message - it will be taken as rejection by almost all children, even adult children and will cause trauma.

There were tons of estranged parents crowing about how they didn't need their adult child, and they were going to enjoy life without them. I remember one conversation with my mother where she wrote, "I for one, though plan on having a good time!" In my case, no one cared that I left. My mother's hooverings were all about control. I got a one sentence response to my no contact letter. My leaving her, meant I would be rejected and ostracized from the rest of the family so all those relationships were wiped away but then no relationships really existed. My mother is much higher on the spectrum of Cluster B than most, but I saw that on the estranged parents board. Attitudes like "well screw them", and mocking children financially appeared on many estranged boards I saw, "I'll be on my cruise while they are waitressing".
Some of Lise's list was interesting, some of us probably read this line and think I wish!

For an underage child, bring them to your local hospital and tell the social workers there that you no longer want your child and that you are dropping him or her off to be parented by someone else.

Her list is quit comprehensive, this one is a good one. Sadly the arrogance drips off all these estranged parent pages. Many consider themselves superior to their adult children.

Some seem to desire revenge on their kids or for life to dish out some revenge/negative karma to them. Here was one disturbing meme. Not all ACONS will go on to have children.

* Don't "toot your own horn" or act arrogant if you want reconciliation. Arrogance is also a narcissistic trait and what it shows is "I am right and you are wrong, and as long as I think I'm the best parent in the world, nothing will change between us. It's all your fault and it's your burden to make up with me." - it doesn't work.

Lise is right about this item on the list.

Some are so invested in being "right", they don't even care about what it may cost them. Here's a meme I saw seeing some of these Estranged parent groups:

If he's gone, don't you think you were a bit overly strict? The mind boggles. Where's the love if you can't even apologize?

One can remember this video from the movie Matilda. This sums up Estranged parents with NPD attitudes in a nutshell....

Newsflash: ADULTS don't want to hear that crap from anyone. And this is said to people in their 20s-70s! Sometimes I think for some people there is no passage of time or change. They still see their adult child as the frightened cowering 10-year-old, they can boss around and say that to.

Lisa talks about criticism, and the contests for love and approval. Check her list out on the link she lists all these things and asks estranged parents, are you doing these things? She also gives details about what not to do, to avoid looking and sounding narcissistic, like not gaslighting your kids, calling them names, doing smear campaigns to others and treating them with contempt.
She brings up perspecticide where the adult child's true feelings and more are ignored.

It's interesting to me, that she also points out to the estranged parents, "you are not their boss and they are not your workers". I've discussed this before, but domination instead of cooperation really took over in the American culture, this is one reason families are breaking up. Parents have the trophies for status, they expect obedience and ignore the fact they gave birth to actual human beings who may have their own desires, thoughts, wants and needs. They become adults who may follow their own independent path. How many young people can say home is a safe place to land anymore or a place of solace, communication, understanding and love?

The word ungrateful is abused too and she mentions that and how that word is used to abuse adult children. I read these words over and over, "We did everything we could for you, and here you are coming back for more!" Trust me ACONS know they are resented and seen as BURDENS. My mother said that one to me all the time. Once I got it in response to "Why didn't you help me with my medical problems as a minor?" but then they usually will just rewrite history and gaslight if you win that argument.

She mentions empathy and boundaries and more and goes into more reasons why estrangement happens from lifestyle differences, politics, moving and being long distance to helping adult children understand the traits of narcissism. Check this article out, it's a good one!

She also wrote this article too, that ties into this one about INVALIDATION and how it is used:

Perspecticide and Being Invalidated Often Feels Unsafe and Even Downright Dangerous On the Receiving End. Comes With a Discussion on Narcissism.

I've written about Invalidation too and how harmful it is. Lise goes into details about how it is done, the effects of PTSD and the thoughts and struggles the "invalidated" often scapegoated child/adult child goes through.

And that's one main theme I saw on all these Estranged Parent boards, outside of the few innocent ones with drug addicted or troubled adult children, the majority seemed to hold no interest in actually listening to their children or accepting their views or their reality. It was one theme that occurred over and over again.

One very scary estranged mother who will remain unnamed did a video on social media I ran across today where she basically said, "I don't have to explain myself to you [meaning her estranged children or child]. "We don't have to entertain your judgments." "We don't have to include you in areas of our lives that have nothing to do with you!"

There's invalidation on display right there. I can see why the someone went no contact! That's all about control, she doesn't want to know her children or for them to know her. That was true of my own mother. I wasn't even allowed to take an interest in her and have her communicate her memories, thoughts, emotions or opinions [beyond housework] so that door was shut long before I went no contact. This lady probably stayed a stranger to her children as well. More on that later, but vulnerability is gone in American society, people are shutting the door, it is hard to get close to anyone now. Here I can ask too, "What use is a parent or a family if you don't really know them?"

There is a lot of counter-protests too, that show up on the Estranged parent boards. Some mods ban the ACONs that come in and disagree. I liked this one statement, "Imagine what it takes for a child to cut off a parent knowing they'd also be excommunicated from their extended family." Yep! I faced that years ago when I went no contact.  I do want to tell ACONS read Lise's articles but be careful if you do see estranged parents boards and websites especially on social media. Some of the articles, memes and more are very abusive, cruel and with a nasty tone. They can be triggering!

You must remember there is backlash happening, and as we know for the narcissistic ones, real change, and reconciliation isn't happening. It's getting a bit hot out there. The estranged parents do have sold out professionals on their side, some of the professionals joined with their "cause" are estranged parents themselves.

One thing I have noticed is they predict doom for all their no contact children. The taint of desired revenge fills the room. Some may say "Well Peep your life has gone bad since you went no contact, you're poor, you're having bad health issues!": but I am still alive! That's all I have to say "I am still alive" and I believe I wouldn't be if I had not gone no contact some years ago. I have had some successful moments [not money making stuff] but gained some notice as an artist and had some happiness I probably otherwise would never have seen. I was not destroyed or owned. Life is very hard, but it would be harder dealing with their BS.

The bible does say this,

Matthew 24:12

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”

This is happening now IMO. Now you may not share my religious beliefs, but I suppose this is what explains all of this mess to me.

Even a secular person could say of these parents "Where is the love?"

I saw this estranged parent article this week. My words in red

"ESTRANGEMENT FROM THE DATA

Here’s the less-talked-about side: what actually happens to the adult children who go full no-contact (especially when the original “abuse” was low-to-moderate or nonexistent). These are the patterns that show up again and again in research, reconciliation stories, and the private DMs of every estranged-parent group.

1 Regret hits like a freight train (usually 5-15 years later)

I wouldn't call it regret, I call it facing what should have been and as you unpeel the layers, even the last layers, you realize the depth of what had been done.

 ◦ Cornell Reconciliation Project (Pillemer, 2021): 61 % of adult children who initiated estrangement eventually want contact again. Only 19 % of parents do.

I don't believe this stat. I do think there are instances among many average people, no ACONS or NPDs, where there may be a dispute or occasional fight or disagreement to be worked through but that stat of only 19% of parents wanting to reconcile speaks for itself.

 ◦ The most common triggers: having their own kids, death/illness of the cut-off parent, or simply waking up one day and realizing the therapist who collected $150/hr isn’t coming to their kid’s graduation.

Blaming the therapists is big on these boards. Maybe because the therapists tell them what they don't want to hear or the therapist helped give their child strength to stand against the abuse.

2 Their own kids often repeat the pattern

 ◦ Anecdotal but everywhere: the adult child who cut off Mom at 28 gets cut off by their own 25-year-old ten years later. Karma? Maybe. Learned behavior? Definitely.

Some break the pattern, they are loving to their children and go on to have good relationships with the adults.

3 Chronic guilt and shame that therapy can’t fix

 ◦ They were told “you’ll feel free.” Instead they feel haunted. Holidays, Mother’s Day, random Tuesdays—something always stings. Many end up in therapy again… for the estrangement they created.

Its like they want their kids to suffer? It's kind of creepy. And here you see whoever wrote this blaming the adult child. Guilt can happen in the early years but that ebbs away as the picture comes into focus.

4 Loss of free safety net

 ◦ No more emergency babysitting, no interest-free loans, no one to call when the car dies at 2 a.m. They discover “chosen family” is great until someone actually needs real help.

It never was dependable in the first place and there was a pound of flesh and soul extracted for every dollar. Here too none of them ask, why are adult children so economically desperate and always in need? It just doesn't occur to them. If your family resents you, every time you need help and sabotages and sets you up for failure, who is going to want help anymore? Many leave knowing one day it could even mean homelessness to them. Life can be scarier if you have no one to turn to, but then many cannot live a healthy life, having people in your life who resent and hate you and consider you a burden. One recent layer for me, well really last year was facing the facts, I am a severely disabled woman, and there was absolutely no mercy for that fact.

 5 Identity whiplash

 ◦ They spent years building an identity as “the survivor who escaped the toxic family.” When life gets hard and they realize Mom wasn’t actually a monster, the entire narrative collapses. That’s an existential crisis money can’t buy.

If Mom treats them like this or whoever wrote this, how are they going to figure out that Mom is not a monster. Here you see the arrogance at it's height. Life is hard but it was harder with you.

6 Higher rates of anxiety and depression long-term

 ◦ A 2023 Belgian study (still the only longitudinal one) found that adult children who maintained no-contact for >5 years had worse mental-health outcomes than those who moved to low-contact or reconciled. The “peace” was temporary; the grief was permanent.

The grief was there far before we left. The grief was there realizing we got someone incapable of love. We can't replace the families we never had. There were always be grief over that.  Here they try to twist the pain of an ACON/ex-scapegoat against them. If someone has to orphan themselves from their entire family there's a reason, why. No one wakes up and thinks of an innocent family, "Oh they suck, let's leave", this is after years of abuse.

7 Grandchildren grow up and ask questions

 ◦ “Why don’t I have a grandma like my friends?” is a question no amount of “your mom was toxic” prepares you for when it comes from an eight-year-old.

Tell the kid the truth, along age appropriate lines, grandma may show up, hand out the money and try to ruin their life or make them become LIKE her.

8 They become the very thing they accused you of

 ◦ Rigid, unforgiving, quick to cancel people who disappoint them. The irony is thick.

if true who'd they learn it from then?

9 Reconnection attempts are often humiliating

 ◦ Many crawl back with a half-assed “I’ve been doing my own healing” text after a decade of silence. Parents who spent years in agony are now the ones with the power to say “no thanks.”

This one is priceless because it shows whoever wrote this, has no interest in reconciliation. They mock even an adult child who may go back. Most ACONS have warned that the punishment and torture is waiting for anyone who dares to ends their no contact. Let this one serve as a warning out there. Mine doesn't miss me but I often have had thoughts like, "I did us both a favor, we could not stand each other." I wanted love to a certain point but realized that would be impossible. In my case too as I have talked about there really was no relationship.

One-liners from adult children who came back (real quotes, anonymized):

 • “I traded my mother for internet validation and a $180 therapy co-pay.”

 • “I cut her off to protect my mental health. Ten years later the only thing wrong with my mental health is what I did to her.”

 • “I told everyone she was abusive. Then I found her old journals and realized I was just an ungrateful asshole.”

Here I am just rolling my eyes. Would an NPD journal? The few innocent parents might?

The punchline no one says out loud: the adult children who do this over politics, minor disagreements, or “she makes me feel guilty” almost always end up paying the higher price. Parents lose the present. Kids lose the future.

and grandchildren will have no experience with aging or how their family ages !

Yes all this is pretty sad. There is a meanness and coldness out there now. I know now in this backlash, the adult children who have left are blamed as the instigators, but for the majority they left for a reason, and those reasons, well you are seeing a group of people who aren't interested in change.

We are in a very cold society now. Spiritually, this is one of lowest ebbs ever. I am going to post about Epstein and a few other issues. The family is breaking up. The families have waxed cold. For many ACONS, no contact was to save their lives and their minds. Do some innocents get caught up, with troubled children who are drug addicts or with personality disorders themselves or other NPDs turning them against an innocent parent? Sure. But for the majority, the attitudes speak for themselves.  You can see why their adult children left!

Say No to Digital ID

Years ago on my bible prophecy and conspiracy blog, I used to post about this kind of stuff.
I did this article on a biometric global cashless ID in 2013. It's weird so much of what I used to write about on there has happened.

Religiously things have changed for me, more on that later. BTW this is not conspiracy. Multiple countries are lining up for Digital ID right now.

You will be unable to work without a Digital ID in the UK

A digital ID [e-ID] passed in Switzerland

86 million bank accounts were closed in Vietnam for not signing up with a biometric Digital ID.

There's many more places than this.

They want to bring Digital ID here in the USA too.

"The plan is to inextricably link a formal, government-ID-linked profile to your internet access, ISP, and social media accounts. The goal? A centralized database of everything you read and consume online, all under the guise of solving bot activity and illegal immigration.
Who's behind it? The push traces back to entities like the ID2020 Alliance—founded by Microsoft, Accenture, and the Rockefeller Foundation—now folded into larger alliances with the same funders. This is about creating a global system of financial and social control.
The sales pitch is tailored:
• To the RIGHT: It's a tool to stop illegal immigration.
• To the LEFT: It's a shield against hate speech and a way to protect children.
The system will appear "vendor-agnostic," with different providers in different countries, but all data will be exportable in the same format to the same centralized database. This is the illusion of decentralization to mask a truly centralized control grid.
This digital ID is the key that unlocks the next phase: programmable, surveillable digital currency (both CBDCs and private versions from banks like JP Morgan). It’s the foundation for a public-private partnership that will determine your ability to participate in the digital economy and society.
The endgame? An internet where economic, social, and educational activity requires a digital ID. A world where your online presence—validated by this ID—could be tied to a gig-economy-style social credit system based on clicks and likes.
And in this "verified" world, who controls the bots? Governments and militaries openly admit to using bot farms for narrative management. The very institutions promoting this system are the ones who weaponize disinformation.
This isn't just about an ID; it's about building the infrastructure for a totalitarian panopticon, sold to us as convenience and security.
~ Camus"

Think about the global roll-out for the Covid debacle/Covid vaxx, this seems to be worldwide too. That's not a good thing. Twenty years ago, Christians like me were talking about how they wanted to install a global control system. We remember the warnings of Revelation 13 and other bible verses. I have talked about the "internet of bodies" on here multiple times, and the possible connection to vaxxes and more.

Even if you are not religious, do you want to live being this controlled where all freedom is gone? Do you want every expenditure tracked? Do you want to live in a 15-minute city where you need to have your ID approved to go anywhere outside the boundaries, they assign you? Canada just banned walks in the woods in some areas, imagine not even being able to take a stroll anywhere without government interference? Do you want to live under a Chinese social credit system where you are blocked from employment or taking the bus if you write something non-government approved on social media, or have "too many vices" as they subtract from your score? Study up on China, it's coming here.

Most Americans should get retroactive Fs in government class for supporting this, and other draconian measures. They must have slept through class when the class was reading 1984, Brave New World or Fahrenheit 451. Sometimes I do post on risky subjects on social media. I did on this, only a few Christian and conservative friends agreed with me. Too many of the liberal friends seem gung-ho for dystopia. That said, the politicians on the right are working to install this system as much as any liberal ones.

You ever wonder why Trump is installing troops in multiple big cities? Makes me wonder what will happen here. Trump really seems to be into the AI thing. Remember Stargate? The right wing is for this too. Trump just told the UN, he plans to put in an AI system [most likely with the help of Palantir]

I've written about Thiel and Palantir here multiple times too and the growing control of the tech brothers.  Remember Palantir tracked Covid vaxxes nation-wide. People don't realize the implications here.

Ask yourself, why are they building multi-billion-dollar AI centers all over the place? What do you think will be used to manage all this micro-managing of everyone's life and control matrix? They plan one for my area. They already are jacking up the electric bills of many people where these centers have already been built. Hey when corporations like Blackrock and others who own the AI centers own your government too, you think anyone is going to care about keeping the bills in check?

I didn't own a smart phone until 2020, which was 10 or more years after people started getting them. Some people used to be in shock I wouldn't get one. I lived in an extremely rural town, where less people had them and had culture shock when I moved here because most had them.

I only got one from a disability charity because I got too deaf to talk to people, don't live around anyone who knows ASL, and found ASL hard to learn,. I never wanted one. I have noticed in the last two years, I keep having to use my smart phone to "prove identities". My husband still does not own a smart phone and we can't afford one anyone. If mine dies or breaks, we probably couldn't get another one. I would have to talk to people writing back and forth, and yes, I've had to do that a few times. It does seem a Faustian deal.

They do plan to make your Digital ID be tied to your internet life, so there would be no more anonymous posts, if they get past internet activity, my social credit score for "conspiracy" "misinformation--I hate that word" and other activities probably would start me off with a score of -1,000. I don't care. Some speak out as they feel led. Maybe the day will come where I will have to leave the internet. If I was not disabled, I would have "dropped out" long ago. The modern world and me are not a good match.

I don't even believe in credit scores even though my present credit score is not that bad. It's just slave numbers to the megacorporation and matrix.

I remember all the talk of making the Covid vaxx mandatory and wondered if I would have to flee, or go into hiding, I still think about that stuff. My trust of anyone who pushed this or embraced this is gone. It separated me from an entire church.

I have had so many friends die or get sick with worrying conditions that will shorten their lifespan, it's disturbing. The amount of human suffering and lost is indescribable and there are people who have lost even more people.  Think about how sick I am, I did not expect people to "go" before me.

Then I go on my social media and see the brainwashed go on about getting new boosters in 2025. Some wanted to put us in concentration camps. Remember years ago when I wrote about the online guy that said I should be put in a concentration camp, he recently admitted to me later he regretted getting the shots and apologized. This is a different friend from the man who got cancer.  I didn't refriend him, but was polite and accepted his apology. Maybe he got health problems too, but who knows?  All the regretters know they are censored and the vaxx injured have gone through hell.

Imagine a world where they could take a job or groceries away if you don't get a mandated vaxx? Maybe Covid was the practice run.

The other day Trump praised Bourla and Operation Warp Speed with double-talker RFK standing right there. He made a 70 billion dollar deal with Pfizer. Do you think the attempts to have mRNA forced on us, are over? The days could be coming where people will be refused employment, buying food, boarding a bus for refusing the latest vaccine. Vaxx passes were used in multiple places in Europe via smart phones and in liberal areas of the USA. There's one giant city in my region where the unvaxxed weren't even allowed to go eat in restaurants or go to shows. Now imagine this with a Digital ID and social credit system to keep people in check.

From a Jack Chick tract, I don't agree with everything he put out there, but is this so far-fetched now?

Add in all the puzzle pieces, the "internet of bodies", the tech dystopia, the rise of AI, the involvement of mRNA/vaxxes, the millions of jobs being done away with and the dystopia they are now building.  Go read and listen to some of Whitney Webb's podcasts and websites.

Caveat on all the above: I wondered if they were going to collapse the system, and if we were at the end of the industrial system due to peak oil.  The Great Reset may be a dismantling of the present industrial system and a neo-feudalism with people working in the fields and no more travel. They could still play the biblical "one world government" games with a new system.  Advanced technology and air conditioning for them, and the fields, pods and primitive life for you. One thing I used to warn of on conspiracy boards and I was seen as kind of a weirdo in doing it, was that a false great awakening was always possible. Where they claimed to be against evil elites, but then brought in worse.

There are some out there who theorize that the Digital ID, Tech "Utopia" technocracy is a cover for what is really happening and they just don't have the energy or desire to pull it off. I have posted on X articles on how AI is a fraud and fake. It doesn't seem to "do" or produce anything except surveillance.

It is interesting in the Chinese video above, while they talked about the Black Mirror aspects, that they laughed and said, "This is China, things don't always work!", repeatedly. Hope that's not more propaganda, but it's possible. One thing that is not being talked about is how the USA dollar is dropping like a rock, gold is now selling like 3900 an ounce and silver is going for near 50 dollars. Most of America doesn't realize how rapidly the USA dollar is losing value.  I've had a few silver coins before but had to sell them for groceries.

I did form the belief especially during my time in conspiracy, if you knew about it, there was other things going on or other things they were distracting you from. I still don't want a Digital ID though.
