Someone donated me a scanner, so more comics may become available in the future but now in electronic form. So be out the outlook for a future electronic Peep comic zine. My husband once wrote a song based on this comic for me called "Everything Stinks", it's kind of an "in joke" for us. Hey why not laugh at the absurdity of life? I guess we managed to. This was drawn pre-Covid.

DeleteIf you want some encouragement, look up the career of a Redditor called "Shitty Watercolour" he started out just doing shitty doodles and would go on reddit and draw anything people wanted him to draw, however shittily of course, and since he was drawing/painting every day, he got better.
ReplyDeleteBasically he'd not done well enough on some test to go to college at least not that year, so he had free time and a crappy little watercolor set he'd been given for Christmas or something. So he was doing these paintings of stuff and yes indeed they were crappy but they were crappy in an endearing way.
Last heard of he's done New Yorker covers and things like that, and has settled into a style where everyone's a tree sloth. He's got a "mature" style and has a following.
