A Cartoon That Says It All!

  1. This is very thought-provoking. I never quite thought about the food we eat in this way, but it makes sense to me. It makes me afraid to eat any meat (not that I'm a big meat eater, but I do eat chicken, turkey, and a hamburger occasionally.)

I wonder if these types of substances are added to fish?

I posted this on my FB wall so that one of my friends who is very interested in healthy eating could see it.

  2. The alternative is pastured meat and eggs from a certified organic farm that doesn't supplement grazing and foraging with soy based feed. It's out there if you know where to look for it, but you have to pay a massive premium when you do find it.

  3. I had a source for meat, allergic for eggs in my old rural county but here the closest place is an hour away and far above my finances. Even the farm meat in the rural county, was a TREAT and could not afford at all times. Yes it is much more expensive. I do think they are adding things to meat, the lower quality and cheaper it is, the WORSE it is as well. It is not easy to find good meat. I know I am paying a pretty penny even for the mid-range stuff.
