Judge

  1. Yes, love this. I found out I have this goofy side to me, that I want to block just to impress others, so they won't judge me. But even denying the right for others to judge me is kinda judging them too. I no longer want to block out parts of myself that I feel that are unworthy, because that would be shutting myself out.

So I give others the right to judge me, but still be myself. Judgement does have a purpose afterall. We judge others, it has a place in life, and can actually protect us from predators. The worst is judging others for judging, it can get all too confusing.

lol, just my rambling musing for the day.

    1. I agree it can be complicated and its true denying showing sides of yourself can be making a judgement. Not all judgments are bad, we have to judge if situations are safe and more. I agree about not wanting block out parts of ourselves and relate quite a bit. Yes some judgment makes sense and is good, this is one of those complex subjects LOL. :P

  2. Great message reminding us to look our for ourselves, Peep. We all run into so many people with poor/no 'manners' and very little desire to discover where we might connect, even for a moment. More and more adults seem inclined to maintain small cliques like children who have tree house clubs. Belonging or being accepted diminishes individuality anyway, so this post makes perfect sense to me. A little reminder to protect my heart today. Thanks, Peep. -- Lora

    1. Thanks Lora. Yes we need to look out for ourselves. I believe individuality in society is lessening to a great extent and the demanded conformity is getting more and more extreme. It is enough to drive one bonkers. I do think things are getting more cliquish and for those of us with "differences" the game is getting even more scarier. Yes protect your heart today. I was told to be anyone but me for years. It didn't work and just brought misery.
