Nomadic Fanatic
These videos by Nomadic Fanatic are interesting to me. I always loved road trips but given my low money and health right now, virtual trips can be fun too. If I ever won the Lotto, I would not be home tomorrow and would go on some short trips. I love exploring. Sometimes I have chosen shrinky-dink little towns to go to in my own county to go see what they are like. One positive aspect of moving too much, is you get to see different areas.
The Oregon coast seems to be incredibly scenic. I live around some great scenery and am always digging up gas money to go on beach drives with my husband but it's far different there. I took videos the other day of crashing waves, but haven't been able to get them downloaded yet. We plan to make some videos for fun this weekend, maybe I can post some here. I wish I could visit a close friend of mine in Oregon and another one on the East coast.

This was really fun! Been to all these places! we live about 2 1/2hrs away or so...
ReplyDeleteCool, I think it would be nice to see. I plan to watch his other videos too.
DeleteI can't get too far from a my doctor's office or a pharmacy. That has a completely different meaning now than it did a few decades ago.
ReplyDeleteThe rule for me is within 5 miles of a hospital. That is needed. My COPD/asthma has been stable for some years but if that starts to go closeness to a hospital will make or break me. Same with pharmacy and more. The medical care here is some of the best I've seen, I even have to stay within house call doctor coverage too.
DeleteYou guys are so tough. I have an infected tooth, and its almost putting me in the hospital, or a mental institution.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon Joan. Are you on antibiotics yet? I hope you can get an emergency extraction okay.
DeleteThanks Peeps, yes I started antibiotics yesterday. I have to be on them for 10 days before anything else can be done. There is no pain. Just a lot of crap I have to go through with my mental state. But its good for me, to face fear, I hope everyone here is feeling better soon too.
DeletePraying for you Joan. So sorry you are dealing with this on top of everything else :(
DeleteOh wow, You watch his videos too?! I've been a follower from almost the beginning of his channel! Remember when he lost Jax for several hours? He's very authentic and better than a travel channel! I'm so pleased to be along for the ride-and I learn a lot from his "Fix-Its" as well as from his other followers as they solve the inevitable mechanical problems of anything with wheels. "Long may he run."

I recently just discovered his channel but looking forward to watching them all. :) I think he's very real too and seems to enjoy his travels quite a bit too. It looks like he is living his dream.
