The Hover Camera Will Follow You and Record Your Life

The Hover camera if it had a sentient mind, would probably die of boredom today, I got a leg infection so I'm laying in bed. Hopefully it will stay a mild one but I had to go on antibiotics and make sure I tell the diet queens and fix it types to shove off for good.

Would the Hover camera follow you into a toilet? The Hover camera could capture me taking pills and using my nebulizer. Do people really think that their daily lives are so exciting that they need some camera following everywhere? Maybe this would be good for vacation but aren't vacation photos boring after a certain point. The more artistic can make a few choice ones look good, but there's endless videos and Google Earth to look at stuff.

I was sitting on the couch last night shivering with a fever, and saw the Duggars Counting On show, and they showed them packing and doing all this boring stuff, and thought, "Why am I watching this?" All those girls are just alike. They don't have one independent thought in their head. I used to be a homeschooling supporter until I saw how a dearth of schooling can form minds that don't even know basics. I think their endless life under the camera killed their individuality.

Living with narc parents we can feel like we are on display and tested and judged every minute. We were always under the camera and told to think about how we were seen. Everything was appearances. I'm unraveling that knot of the "measure up or else" and trying to play more JADE. Who's judging us but God but human beings are so eager for their lives to be judged. Whose the film for? It reminds me of the Jack Chick track where the sinner has the angels on Judgment Day showing a movie of all his sins and he never got born again, and definitely the conscience got thrown on the scrapheap so no Romans 2 was going to serve as a get-out clause, and it was a movie screen of his life. Why did this camera remind me of that?

                                                 Jack Chick

So God watches us but now we watch ourselves too?

If I had a Hover Camera, it would be like a 600lb life episode without all the pigging out they show on that show, look it's Peep eating salad for lunch and some eggs for breakfast and without the gross surgery and troll-looking doctor shaming me for being fat. What would those viewing the video from the Hover camera think of some of my personal conversations, which can include everything from conspiracy theory to wishing Better Call Saul was more then 10 shows a season, and questions about God? The Hover camera would see some woman reading a lot who is really bad at housework and has to spend endless time on medical junk. It would show my bad temper as well as me joking with my husband. I think Hover Camera's are a bad idea. It reminds me of 1984 too. Where the screen is always watching Winston. I feel like they are brainwashing us to love all the surveillance. Now you can take the camera with you.

What is wrong with people nowadays? It's like to exist you have to be recorded. Society kind of weirds me out now, like we are all having a contest run with our lives, where the life is supposed to resemble the TV commercials and they have put us all on a permanent Truman show. There's a reason I don't show pictures of myself on this blog, it's better to let people use their imaginations for something.

  1. I'll let you in on secret. I have actually thought about buying one of those drones and flying it over my ex wives house. I live close enough I think I wouldn't even have to leave our house. I am sure her, like me, has such a boring life I would probably nod off and send it crashing through her window.

    1. LOL no nudist parties in the backyard to find? It probably would be boring. At least for me the viewers would get some interesting conversation. The Duggars are so brain-dead it's awe-inspiring. Narcs are essentially boring too. I may have wrote a long time ago in the I can't talk to them article how bored I was.

  2. Maybe I could strap a stick of dynamite to it. That would just about do the trick.

  3. Hope your infection clears quickly, Peep. Getting an infection isn't a choice, it's a chance. Some people are more prone to them than others, that's all. And that includes skinny people as well.

Those drone things, I dunno. Actually Q did have a good idea for using one to drop an IED but beyond that, they creep me out. Maybe because I live rurally and there are no regs regarding their use or abuse, but considering miles per second gossip flies around, those drones would be used for all kinds of nefarious purposes.

    1. Thanks TW, with Lipo-lymphedema, they are more of a chance, there's people with ports, leaking legs and more. I haven't had an infection needing antibiotics since last July [had a small one I fought off without any in a day in winter] but they do worry me always. I think it is healing and no hospital time so far. Thanks for saying it is not a choice. That makes me feel better. Pray for my sugars to go down too, they are at 130s but I ate late due to illness.

Yes in rural areas, people could use them for nefarious purposes, and that's scary. In rural areas well I lived in one, people like their privacy, and they are an invasion of it. Ever see the Simpsons where they fly it around to get dirt on neighbors and looking in windows. I can see them using one of those things as partial house arrest, the criminal has to let one watch him or her all day on parole. People don't know what kind of society we are getting into.

  4. When I was a small child I heard all the stories about my unique mother and her gifts and talents. So of course I had her squarely on a pedestal. But as the years went on I went from a boy enamored by his mother to consciously wondering what the allure was and from there went swiftly through dismay and disgust. They don't make numbers high enough to gauge how she and my family over sold her talents. It wasn't that they were over sold but that they were non existent. Trying to get to the bottom of my mother was like climbing Mount Everest and finding it littered like the alley behind a house of ill repute.

  5. When I feel judged all the time, it is like something like this camera following me around. Today, I had to parallel park in a very tight spot, it was all there was left and I needed it, and it took me forever. In a busy street, and I was tormented from within, no one was watching.

I did it. 5 attempts. I had no choice. There was nothing left. Its ok, I did it. Then I told myself that was the point. But the whole time I felt sick. Not because it was hard, that didn't matter, but because people might be watching me.

    1. I am glad no one was watching, parallel parking is hard. I actually don't even attempt it but I don't drive lately but has to do more with all the neck turning hurting my neck. At least more towns are changing the parking where its the diagonal. I almost flunked driver's ed due to parallel parking.

    2. In the city where I have to go to appointments and stuff, you would wish you had a car you can fold up and put in your pocket. I can imagine your husband reading that, 5 attempts? lol. But I knew I couldn't give up once I started, I needed to do this. Besides I needed to, I had an appointment and there was nothing left. I would do anything for the diagonal parking. For now, its parallel parking or take a bus, and I'm always tempted to take the bus. But it is hard, especially when the space is tight. And I felt self-conscious about it, holy cow.

    3. Yeah some cities love the parallel parking and ones with little cars like maybe Mini-Coopers do better? LOL Yeah I've made that many attempts before in my past, probably had cars sticking way out or up on the curb too LOL The bus you have to deal with public and endless waits so it's a trade-off. I always hoped no one was watching too.
