Michael Jackson: They Don't Care About Us

Michael Jackson had a lot of challenges, he had a very abusive father and the system affected him too in very negative ways.

However you could tell in the music, he was sneaking out some truth, in saying "They Don't Care about Us" in speaking about the powers that be in this world. Probably one reason he didn't last very long.

  1. I ruminate and then think why couldn't my parents just be normal. They brought me into this world it was their obligation to care for me. And if not don't have unprotected sex. We are all just one condom away from being born to normal people.

  2. I ruminate too, and I ask why couldn't my parents be normal? I even lost the 1 in 5 million roulette with the weird diseases and obesity from a horror novel. I agree why not use birth control? In my case, if you don't like the kid, spare me the suffering and hand me over to foster care or adoption/back to the adoption agency. They probably worried about how that looked. Yes about the one condom. Maybe if they did not meet up that night God would have sent our soul somewhere else [Im not sure how this biblically works on that specific issue so just musing aloud about that one]

  3. Me too, why couldn't they be normal. I grew up scared, lonely, hurt, abused, and I believed this was normal. This is weird. A condom would have stopped that.

I think in the book of Ephesians that we were predestined to be born before God created anything else. So I do think that we were meant to be, but it also says that God knew who are parents would be, so I don't know.

  4. I think being adopted would add insult to injury. At least I can label myself as an accident. They had to go out of their way to make you their receptacle of dysfunction.
