Should One Have to Fight Just to Survive?

"Also the idea that everyone has to fight like it's a Hunger Games just to pay the rent is part of your brainwashing. That is why society is collapsing at the seams. When 90 percent of a society are told they are expendable "losers" that should starve, and don't deserve to afford families even, you have a poop storm ready to begin."

I posted that on a Facebook debate, where millennials being "entitled" was the discussion. I got one of Tony Robbin's finest from Australia who thinks everyone who is poor was lazy and did not work hard.  I have noted that millennials are under far worse pressure then Generation X and I think it's wrong. So you have to be a super-star now if you want to just pay the rent and afford a family? What is sad is the people who defend this system, I suppose it's the few where it's worked for them, and write things online like you "Just got to work hard" and "Launch businesses!" like everyone has buckets of cash. The Kool-Aid drinking is rife out there.

Check out the show PayDay on Vice if you get a chance. I don't endorse this show. Vice is like channel for millennials where it seems like one giant commercial for taking drugs for fun and "spiritual enlightenment". I said to my husband, "Notice no one on that show makes anything, they run round "hustling" mostly selling services like hookah pipes, tattoos, marijuana edibles, porno, and charcuterie trays to a thin silver of people who have money. It's like the peak of the so called "service economy. It made me sad for millennials. One had to be a semi-sociopathic "hustler" to pay any bills or make any real money if this show is any evidence." I think about too, what actual work is available to people? Barely anything.

One other thing is they are automating everything out of existence. I noticed there are even LESS cashiers in big stores, they have more of the self-check outs. I hate those things. There are even now libraries, and I saw this at a local suburban library where machines will check out the books. That means far less jobs for library aides. Now in the middle of all this, we have more Republicans who will scream "get a job" and force starvation on the poor.

What kind of society will we end up with when so many people become expendable and "throw-away" people? I felt sorry for the millennials in that show but also for their customers. The few people with "real jobs" even the funeral director are broke  They never have time to rest or play with their children, they have to be "on the make" 24-7. There's no divide between work and life. My husband has problems with that. He "worked" every holiday. He's not locked away on some factory floor but someone in India is profiting off his low paid hours of transcribing. He applied for more work, to get told by some higher-paid transcribing company, that only 2 percent of their candidates are selected for testing, and then he got turned down anyhow.

On one of the Canadian Pay Day shows, The oil man had to live in a crappy trailer worse then my apartment because they raised the prices to go with the oil money. Can one even have a decent society when one has to become a "hustler" to even survive?

I think about how something switched over, maybe it had to do with all the Republicans or "think positive" programming, but even being told "You need to work hard" is kind of a sick joke now. Often anyone who questions the system or says it did not work out for them is told by the people who believe in the system, "I worked hard for what I have". Well many people worked hard and it didn't pay off. Every narcissist always gave me that song and dance even the ones who never had to "work hard" one day in their life. They sought to shame me with it. I can tell millennials are shamed night and day unless they have made it. It is worse then it was on us.

I got my sense of the life of the millennials on that show. On one non-housebound day, I and my husband was trying to sell this old 1950s Formica table to help pay a bill, they sell them for a good price in the antique stores around here. My table needs some work, I don't have the tools to do, but it could be a decent table if someone put some effort into it.  I had a rock bottom price on mine. The lady I was trying to sell it too, wrinkled up her nose and said, "the chrome was too eroded on the bottom of the legs". It was rather humiliating I guess. It felt like I could have had more pride out on the highway with a cardbord sign.  I'm a crappy sales person. I lowered the price even more, and am waiting on a pending sale but my hopes are a bit crushed already.  My husband runs after every loose can. I know the monied class often calls poor people "lazy".

It's troubling how many now are being forced to scrape at the edges. Millennials aren't going to be able to afford to marry or have families or have homes. We couldn't afford it. In my case I didn't have children due to health problems but I could not have afforded them anyway. Life is totally different when you are barely surviving and able to take care of yourself. The sad thing is how many think this is okay.

We were watching some re-runs of Breaking Bad, that is the show about the chemistry teacher who because of giant medical bills for lung cancer who becomes a meth dealer. For some reason the show PayDay and Breaking Bad all got mixed into my head in one stew.  Life for Walter White is nothing but work, he never enjoys any of those barrels of money and well his conscience is eroded to where he becomes a sociopath committing all sorts of crimes even murder to "win". How many will keep consciences in a "hustler" culture, where there's no such thing as fair pay for fair work anymore?

There's a point where competition opens the door to something new. If only "winners" can even eat, and only "superstars" can pay rent or afford to have children, you have a society on the edge of a new sort of chaos. Honestly millennials are being massively betrayed, I don't think most realize how badly yet.

  1. I think even showing compassion for another is enough to get you weeded out of the hunger games. I keep thinking of that young woman at work who has a hard time. The supervisor watches to make sure I'm not helping her. That we are supposed to sit back and relax and be "grateful" we are not in the same "category" as this screw up person.

When I think of being grateful, I don't think it means to put on some blinders, or cloud your heart to the reality of others getting hurt all the time.

    1. Yes that is true too. They don't want anyone being nice to anyone else. It's like everything is supposed to be in a pecking order as well. That supervisor is wicked not to allow anyone to help that poor woman. It's all about dividing and conquering and keeping everyone on edge. We have to be careful of narcs yelling at us to make "gratitude" lists, it's all BS. It's a way they rub their "wealth" in at others, while lying, cheating and committing fraud, and to elevate themselves as "better" in receiving blessings. They want smiling serfs who never rock the boat.

  2. I had to fight for my college education, financial resources, apartments, jobs, and training programs when I was younger. Narc decision makers and their enablers tried to take something away from me when they noticed I was happy.

At work, narc supervisors cut down my hours to below half-time, marginalized me, or take away work responsibility, so I could act out and get fired. I lucked out because I had supportive people in the management who helped me find a job elsewhere or transfer to another store within the company.

In the future, we need to refrain telling people when we are happy and only tell good news to people we trust. I will pray for you and your husband. Hope you will have fewer interactions with narcs this year.

    1. Yes many people have to fight for a lot of things. Sometimes people can even have good jobs and more and have them taken away or a narc will sabotage. They are selfish and take everything for themselves. Something is changing in America too where the worship of sociopaths and narcs and "false" winners has happened so much, they cheer for all the oppression and ignore matters about fair pay and decent community living.

The work world is out of control now where people are having hours cut, or given only temp work or non benefit gig employment like my husband works in. The media is not talking about these job changes much when it comes to the young. I am glad you did have supportive managers who bucked this trend.

Sure if one is happy, a narc can lurk around to ruin things for you. Their entire life is nothing but competition and kicking people down. It's sad, you can see the effects of their influence on culture and more. Thanks for your prayers Boston Jogger.

  3. Peep, thanks for your commentary. I keep reading articles on how robots or AI will be taking over jobs in every sector. Yes, all part of the depopulation agenda. I'm sick & tired of seeing narcs rise to the top management company positions. They have no consciences and will cheat & screw their way to the top. Well, just learning what a "narc"is I see that my last 2 bosses have been MN. The first, a female narc broke up the marriage of the CEO,& married him. Then 10 years later he divorced her & she manipulated as part of her divorce settlement to keep her job at the company until retirement. The CEO's son took over & he couldn't keep her inline so he hired a new VP to keep her on a short leash. Unbelieveable! I had to report to this jealous competitive monster. After she tried to throw me under the bus, I went to the new VP and she DID get in trouble. Thank God for some justice. I need be extremely careful, currently searching for a new job. I'm listening to my God given gut-instinct and running if I pick-up anything. Better unemployed then working for a destructive evil entity narc...

    1. What scares me is no one is doing anything about the disappearing jobs in AI. I agree that is part of the depopulation too, make 80% redundant...and they wonder why we have so many unemployed now? I am tired of seeing people abused in the workplace by narcs and socipaths too. I think of the evil people who stood in husband's way. One guy made such an art of firing people--remember we lived in a small town--some people would MOVE there and he would fire them within the first day of work, just for the thrill. I am sure they could write articles or do what the newspaper required. I kid you not, there was at least a dozen. I am glad you got some justice with the narc boss. They stir up trouble just because and love to threaten people with poverty and being thrown overboard. I hope you can get a new job. Husband chose gig employment over poor health, when you get old enough the narcs and sociopaths don't want you but I know a bit part was escaping the office games and backstabbings that always made work harder to thrive in. You ever notice in the corporate world no one address this serious problem when it comes to productivity. Will they ever address the malignant narc problem?

  4. Hi Peep, so sad & cruel that arrogant narc boss would fire people after a move & on the 1st day. Terrible! I'm glad to hear your husband found a way to get out of the office. For me, the office is a non-negotiable...can't do it anymore. It has to be a home office with a new job or I will decline. Also, narc female boss use to brag that this was the "last job" she would have to learn. All part of the divorce settlement...However, the company did clean out the top other aggressive female narcs by telling them their jobs were moved to another state. Of course, none of them could leave due to homes & families. So that was the end of the mean manipulative bitties! And as I mentioned, I had a claim against my last narc employer for unpaid wages. Well, it has gotten ugly fast with malignant narc. My legal non-profit informed me that my contract is the most confusing unclear contract that they have ever seen. Narcs are "slippery fish" & don't like to be held accountable. I don't want to spend the next 1/2 year battling this evil reptile brain. So I'm walking away & dropping it...it's not worth my peace, energy & sanity. I watched the Ollie M.video(thanks O.M.) about taking narcs to court & how the battle is only more Narc Suppy for them. In my case, I believe this would happen. So I'm done; told my legal counsel NO CONTACT. Since I'm relatively new to identifying this evil, I now realize why all the experts & people like you,Ollie, & those with videos & blogs say get away quickly & NO CONTACT! It doesn't matter if it's family, boss, neighbor or former friend. It's like there is no relaxing anymore in today's world...one has to watch every interaction to stay narc-free!

    1. Hi Kittiestravel, yeah that boss fired one single woman who was 30 something who had just signed a lease and moved to our small town. Can you imagine and she Dehad no job and no where to go and your credit if you have it is ruined too. One man behind a desk ruined our life, in 2007. Husband was attempting his career change. Got a good review in Dec and was fired by March. I had gone on the insurance which made me wonder and I heard him muttering about a female art director who decided she "didn't like him" but they really didn't work that much together. So my 10 years of poverty came from that and losing my old community hoping for better. I remember how Queen Spider treated me alone after that time, saying things like "I know he would lose that job" [he held his other jobs for 5 years and the one before for 3--which was an economic lay off and job before that for 4-5 years. Those cruelties and from a selfish stuck up family were enough to walk alone. I still wonder if she did something to get him to lose his job this is not someone who lost jobs willy-nilly.

My husband's health declined after all the stress, I was very depressed because I had been attached to the past community and never did find the same connections as before...[well it never was perfect but a small working class community was easier on Aspie disabled fat me then an upper class resort community though this one has far more resources, and charity]

Gig employment can go up and down. He went down this month due to holiday cuts at one place, but winter we know as "slow season". One of his transcribing companies is going to increase the work. So it is a different life. It is better he is home with me. As I got older I did need more help to do things. I am glad he is spared the stupid office games, threats and bossses telling him to work 14-16 hours a day instead of 12. Still remember one job who wanted him to come in at noon when he often came home from at 4 in the morning. When was he supposed to sleep [he had a 45 min commute there]

I know that evil boss fired multiple people. I do think some power trip. At least that was one who got a taste of his own medicine and got laid off, but they gave him far too many years to destroy the local newspaper.

People are being tortured by narcs now at work, and they get way with so much. If they decide they don't like someone, they will get others to destroy them and shove them out. Yeah people lose livelihoods from narcs, their damage is real. They don't only destroy families, they destroy work places, who knows how much substance abuse, suicides and poverty is resultant from their wicked antics.

I am glad you have a legal claim. Sometimes people have no choice but to pursue legal fights with narcs even for their own survival but yeah it can bring you in contact. Let lawyers write and contact them. It is true one has to watch every interaction. Even out in society one has to be careful of them like that narc "fake Aspie" I encountered. I can feel the evil when I ran into her somewhere in town and I kept walking by and saying nothing. The narcs are getting scarier too, society has given them more power and people believe their lies. I think of the people who I tried to tell the truth too, so hard. I know Ollie has been through the mill with his criminal narc family. I think one is trolling my blog. They left something really nasty the other day. I knew that woman always hated me from day one. You know that is the worse how they wear the mask pretending they "care" to others while hellbent on your destruction. Seeing what that freak has posted here, if it is her and I really do think it is, has backed up my running for the hills. Be careful of new ones out in the world. My narc radar is far higher, I just walk away now if I suspect someone is a narc.

    2. Peep, reading what Queen Spider said regarding your husband's lay-off is down right wicked. I'm sorry you went through some tough years. It reminds me of when my NM said to me, "your boyfriend is going to drop you like a hot potatoe!" Brutal..no contact is the only way. Boy, narcs must really be reaching for supply posing as Aspies...Since they are chameleons & imposters any disease or disorder is possible. Glad you detected it quickly. I'm thinking about turning into a "ball-buster" to scare the narcs away:)Trying to look at my patterns and boundaries and make changes. Observe & don't react to mean comments or deflect back on the narc, " Thats interesting `that you would say that." But most importantly it's always the first mean or back-handed comment which is the "give-away".They get removed then. Normal non-narcs are simply not malicious like that. When the Bible speaks of the wicked , unrepentent & evil-doers(Psalm37) it is now clear who God is referring to...

    3. What I went through during those years is a lot of what pushed me into no contact. She judged me and blamed me for what one evil man did behind a desk in ruining our life. I had taken enough abuse for being poor that is for sure. All those people sicken me they don't know to what level. I also realized how connected they all were and what liars they are. Read about the would be false Aspie here, it was very disturbing.

      http://fivehundredpoundpeeps.blogspot.in/2016/07/an-experience-with-possible-fake-aspie.html

Narcissists always react with glee and kick you in the face when life troubles come like your NM saying that your boyfriend would drop you. This is a form of ongoing sabotage too. So wonder I spent years in severe anxiety, blaming myself for every mishap and unable to deal with extreme pressures. I was thinking about that the other day, because I had this person in the corner of the room chanting Loser Loser and that I deserved all my health problems.

With work, I would grey rock them, don't try to out ball bust them. I did it at a job. I was able to keep myself from getting fired but their manipulations never ended. I only got rescued from firing because one narc slipped up and came to work drunk and gave me information, and that is extremely rare. Yeah ghost them out. With the drunk narc at my last work place, I actually gave her three months silent treatment. I would say something if I had to, like "Sally has to be driven to the doctor" but otherwise gave nothing. I would go to the residential home, the girls would be split in half, half given to me and half given to her and she would leave with them all day, taking them to her house which actually was against policy but this narc broke so many rules and got away with it. She definitely was wicked. Yeah get away from narcs as much as possible. When I see one out in the community, I tell them nothing and become a blank slate. I left a bible study here because it was a humble bragging narc fest.

    4. Hi Peep, I understand those painful years too & the blessing of No Contact came. It is the only way to get these wicked disasters out for good. I've been no contact with the both Nparents for periods of 6yrs, then 9 yrs, and the FINAL no contact is 10.5yrs. They are unbearable, and I didn't know what a narc or no contact was back then. My NM has always been jealous of her only daughter and her comments were overtly mean too. I read your article on the "fake aspie"& I immediately thought,FA knows that you are on to her. You can't be fooled. Your story is an excellent reminder to listen to our God given gut instinct that "something is very wrong here".Yes, learning Grey Rock, "boring & bland".Glad to hear it worked for you."ball-buster" meaning, I wish I had a tough "don't mess with me exterior". I got into therapy when I was in my early 20s, but no one was talking narcs back then. I'm starting all over now. Also, listened to Smakintosh's video on narcs being ultimately a spiritual condition of choosing evil & giving oneself over to it.Romans1:28-32. Deep, the shock is...it seems many people are choosing evil.

      http://fivehundredpoundpeeps.blogspot.in/2015/11/generation-x-scapegoat-generation-is.html

Yes I know many people who haven't lived very long. Many can't afford medical care. I got some for being disabled. The jobs aren't giving medical insurance that is any good unless you are upper middle class and at least a middle management tier.
