I sometimes think the nicest most genuine people are the least liked among the "crowd". I know rejection has hurt me badly. Even with the "fake friends" "rejecting" me it hurt. There's too many hurts. Well there are still some who love me. Charlie Brown was always the sweetest one.
Yet every time Lucy holds the ball we still try to kick it and we still fall on our buttocks. Can I say buttocks?
ReplyDeleteI agree. We still try to kick it and they pull it away. I felt that way even with the latest fake friend. Next time someone tells me, "I will always be there for you", I better smarten up and be cautious. LOL buttocks is okay.
DeleteIn high school, somebody called me Charlie Brown as a joke, because I did not win all the time and I was rejected by some popular kids. Nowadays, I would rather to be around with Charlie Browns than with narcs, and stay away from malignant narcs by 10 feet pole.
ReplyDeleteSorry you were called Charlie Brown as a joke, yeah I have heard that as a put down to kids the narcs consider as "losers" and not winning all the time. I would rather be around Charlie Brown too then the competing and shallow pods.
