When No One Has a Job Left Who Will Buy Anything?

I don't agree with those against a good pay, like in the meme above, so I am using it to show that McDonald restaurants and probably others are taking away cashiers and moving into touch-screens. With all the technology no one ever asks if it is a good idea. No one is asking, what happens when no one has a job to buy anything? Those against good wages, forget that even Henry Ford knew he had to pay his workers a living wage and he would make more money because they would buy one of the cars they were making. I refuse to use self-check out cashiers on principle. The world is already growing impersonal enough.

  1. I love these job posts, its so validating for me. A living wage is so hard to expect. The millenials are expected to work for low wages and when they complain about it they are called lazy or too entitled. "Half a loaf is better than none." Its sounds weird because when you are trying to put a roof over your head you get called entitled.

    1. Thanks Joan S. So few tell it like it is. It is scary. They are changing things so people can't make decent livings and basically enslaving people. The whole entitlement meme for millennials is gaslighting and false shaming so they won't ask how come I can't afford to raise a family or have a life like my parents? Well some of them may have seen poor parents if they had Generation X parents too. They tell people they are entitled simply for wanting to afford food, car and an apartment, it's sickening.

  2. Dear Peeps, the people who resent the fast-food workers earning a decent salary are just miffed, because the price will go up and then the greedy re-puks will have to limit the size of their meals. Oh, wait a sec! These are the same noseys who are telling us we should eat less and lose weight. These economic Pharisees say the darnedest things ;/

  3. By the way, ya think when the "replacements" are installed, the prices will go down for more than a few weeks at most? Ha ha ha, the joke is on us.

    1. I don't think the prices will go down at all. Like with the robot cashiers, you get to do all the work someone else used to for you. I hate those things and can barely use them. I think this will assure more people will say "Forget fast food", and they will go down to the local mom and pop burger stand, taco stand, or non corporate restaurant because there will be someone there actually to TALK TO THEM.
