  1. Thank you for this. There's also a great picture of sillouetted people in a favela watching Olympic stadium fireworks from afar, The contrast is staggering. It's The Hunger Games!

    1. Yes it is just like the Hunger Games, I watched one of those movies, kind of to see what it was all about. Yes all the rich people in the "Capital" eating lavish food while the "peasants" starved, that's what you are seeing there. Remember they get taxpayer money for Olympics too tax payer money that could have helped their own poor.

  2. Really sick! I'm boycotting the Olympics for the most part. They should take care of their own people first

    1. I'm staying away for the most part too, this is one of the poorest countries on earth so it's horrible.

  3. Our tax dollars?!? Doesn't surprise me. Per your later post, Peeps, yep once again, the narcs and their monkeys get center-stage, on our dime, while the street-kids are lucky to find part of a sandwich in a wastebasket.

    1. Yes all for the narcs. Who cares about sports while starving? Even in America, everyone has checked out. Only the rich can afford sports anymore. Who has money for the equipment. I remember when people played racquet ball and tennis, in the 80s. Even golf is a 100 bucks a pop. Yeah people are even checked out here, and there they are so poor why should they care?
