  1. My god, what a gorgeous painting, the way the light is diffused onto everything.

  2. I love this painting Peeps.
I guess art and what one sees in it is truly in the eyes of the beholder. I took what I thought were the visible roots of the tree to be a commentary on "transparency," something we're not seeing a lot of at the moment. (Perhaps I need to go read a novel too) but whatever your intention as the artist, it really is stunning!

  3. Just saw on BBC that Jeff Bezos went to the edge of space in his own rocket named "shepherd". Yeah, I need to get that novel out forthwith! Fortunately I have several I recently ordered from ... you guessed it, Jeff Bezos! In the spirit of sharing, they are "American Dirt" by Jeanine Cummins, The long petal of the Sea, by Isabelle Allende. Migrations, by Charlotte McConahay. The Restaurant, by Pamela Kelley. When we believed in Mermaids, by Barbara O'Niel. And a a Nora Roberts Trilogy, Jewels of the Sun, Heart of the Sea, and Tears of the Moon. Any suggestions where to start? You are the most prolific reader of books I have ever come across. Get to me soon, I need help fast!

The rocket is actually named New Shepard, after Alan Shepard, the first American who flew into space in 1961.

    2. Hard to tell, bet if Shepard was still alive he wouldn't want connected with space vanity.
