Eighteenth Century Cooking

This looks like fun, even 50 year old cookbooks are a new world, but going back 200-300 years is a whole other ball game. Reading very old cookbooks can quite an interesting on it's own so these guys cooking the recipes for real is kind of neat.

  1. Thank you so much for posting these videos! I love seeing what kinds of food people ate in the 18th century! Wow! I'm glad these men were able to find old cookbooks and tried out their food. I plan to try some myself this year. :D

    1. Thanks, I want to go through and watch more when I get the time. The cabbage thing seems like altered stuffed cabbage but boiling it, wow, I wonder if one can boil cabbage rolls, if you could do something were they don't come apart. All that suet would be too much. LOL
