"Gen X: The First Generation Born from Medical Desperation

This video blew my mind, why because this vlogger, "Gen X Unfiltered" sums up a major problem I have faced in life. I've never seen such honesty about the fact that many of us in Gen X were born under very different medical circumstances. Our existence alone in some cases may be from new medical developments or dare I say "experiments".

As people know who read this blog I was blamed by my family for my severe disabilities, and obesity, abused and rejected over them. He's right about the "medical experimentation" and other issues that affect Gen X, especially those born as preemies and other extreme medical interventions. I have mentioned this on this blog before but one reason I am a "medical mystery" is my father had hypogonadism.  His was severe. He wasn't supposed to have children at all, but hormonal treatments ended that. Nature said "No" but science said "Yes" and to be franked it screwed some of us progeny over!

 By the way, remember I was not the only sick one, my sister almost died of a rare autoimmune disorder when very young. My mother went all the way and got extreme top tier medical researchers to save her life and she is actually the first one to ever have survived her disease in the 1970s. I have the national medical journal write-up from that time. She had cancer by her 40s too, that was kept secret from me and my brother needed a quadruple heart bypass by his mid 40s as well. I've written enough about my medical horrors here from going deaf to lupus related conditions to the severe obesity when I once was 700lbs. This video gave me a new light on how I see my life. Its like they couldn't even face or admit their own decisions. The vlogger talks about us as the new data set for a bunch of medical hacks! He's right.

There's many more conditions this can apply to, preemies, other hormonal treatments, and later fertility treatments that will impact younger generations. Add all the chemicals in our food, water, and air, and other environmental impacts, there's things happening to people beyond understanding. I realized years ago that people my age seemed to be "sicker" than the older generations who seemed much more hale and hearty to do endless farm and yard work. They have done studies saying that the young have more medical problems, and I posted in this article today about how Gen X and millennials both are having rising mortality.

 Is there any wonder my endocrine system never worked right with so many glands off kilter? He advises people to ask their parents what shots and interventions were involved! I can't ask. You do know one thing I did do, was years ago I got ahold of all my father's medical records, it was to find out what was wrong with me, even my functional doctor a couple years ago was given copies. My parents kept so many secrets, I knew about the hypogonadism but there were many disorders I did not know about. They hid his lupus and that's when I found about it and his seizures many years later.  One other thing, my parents were so proud of getting us "vaccinated", they used to boast to friends, how they got every vaccine they could for us kids. There weren't as many as there are today, but there was some of them. I don't think the results as far as my health speak so good to that decision.
