I've switched half my meals to vegetarian in the last 4-5 months. My kidney problems are motivating this, I still eat small amounts of meat [poultry] but dropped it by a lot. I like tofu but have to be careful of eating too much of it or my thyroid can swell up. The vegetarianism is helping my life. I was petrified of gaining weight from Covid lock-down but have been able to keep it stable and its 20 down from 6 months ago. That could be water weight changes but down is always good in my case. The kidneys are stable but the stones are still an issue. The kidney doctor wants me to cut down sodium too.
